There is this phone app golf game that has so called "unlimited tournaments", however, you get 5 total tries. The first 2 tries cost nothing and then the 3rd 4th and 5th rounds cost a certain amount and the cost increases exponentially to replay the tournament.
This would solve two things:
1.) Still allow wgt rake it profit from ball usage and the added revenue of charging credits per try after the first two rounds.
2.) Would make these unlimited tournaments less repetitive and more enjoyable for the players who don't have the time or will to replay rounds 100 times over!
Just a thought. I think it would really inject a breath of fresh air into unlimited tournaments. You could do it like this or change it a bit adding more tries.
Round 1: Free
Round 2: Free
Round 3: 50 Credits
Round 4: 150 credits
Round 5: 400 credits
