  Is anyone else experiencing tougher than usual gameplay lately? Most notably in tournaments?

  I'm having a hard time.. can't even get started, have to WD 3 holes in nearly every time. And before the usual suspects start piling on me, this isn't a tin foil hat post.. so just keep steppin' if that's all you've got.

  Put up decent scores in the TA and STA tourneys early but can't even begin to replicate those scores. Maybe it's just me, but if anyone else is having trouble at least I won't feel so bad.

  Well you know ISH, I'm pretty sure subtle fine tuning goes on and it seems, that easy, always simple putts get a face lift from time to time. However, I run hot & cold..or warm from day to day or week to week. With me, it is usually taking fine play for granted as if it were a done deal, so why should I bother with focus and concentration...LOL

  Thank you SP.. and I know you're right. That's exactly the kind of encouragement and positive reinforcement I was looking for. We all need to be brought in from the ledge at times, it seems.  :)

  I'm seeing more wtf's every since the introduction of Pinehurst. It only leads to lesser play, who needs the aggravation of perfect shots going to crap. Really tired of all the manipulation, game has become a roll of the dice.

  What sense does it make to turn a gr8 shot into a bad one & next hole allow a bad shot to get close. That is not realistic on any level.

  Not you at all, this is typical. The most recent example is the past Open qualifying. Early low scores got much harder to get as the qualifying progressed. There was a discussion about it here where you can see how players struggled to improve scores.

  Thanks for that YJ..  At least now I won't be questioning my abilities so much. I got really frustrated. On the bright side, I've been saving a lot of money on balls.. don't think I've used a whole sleeve in the last week.. haha.. Not sure if Mr WGT will like that or not, but it's true.
