Tier level/tees question

  Question-at what levels do you start hitting from the longer tees? I assume once you get to Pro level you move from red or the shortest tees to the white or middle tees. Does it vary by course? I know not all virtual courses have the same number of tee areas. Any info on this subject would be appreciated. Thanks.

  Hack and Am= 1st tee box(easy)

  Pro and TourPro= 2nd tee box(medium)

  Master and Tour Master= 3rd tee box(hard)

  Legend and Tour Legend = 4th tee box(championship)

  You can always play rounds in practice mode and set your own tee box if you wish to see what it's like to play from the farther back tees. Every course for stroke play has 4 sets of tee boxes as outline above.

  Can anyone explain why I just played a level 89 tour master that was hitting from the same box as me. While I'm at pro tier level 45.

  Shouldnt he be on a tee a bit further back? Thanks...

  If the player who set up the game created a practice game, it would allow the user to specify which tees they would like to use.

  It wasn't a practice game though. It was a coin game. So he didn't have any influence on game settings...
