Ball choice before teeiing off

  Today I was confronted with a very mean element of the programme. 

  The system asks me to do my final round in the Transamerica monthly hole, so I click on that, however, it does not let me choose my equipment ball before I start. It went straight to the game, and then you cannot chance the balls anymore. 

  It was agonising to have to to play 18 holes with the standard provided balls, and I lost at least 9 strokes on the course (Entered with 68, 2nd round 77 ... `:-(  @#$&  )

  It is not more that fair to let players choose a ball they want to play with BEFORE tee off at the first hole. 

  Now it provided a huge amount of agony, and I did not enjoy this AT ALL ... ruined my day !

  (I know it is just a game, but hey, I like to get some fun out of it. In this way I won't touch the game for the foreseeable future)

  May be I do something wrong (but then please tell me what to do), or otherwise please amend this by: 1. - not inviting immediately with click and play without opportunity for ball choice afterwards, or 2. - allowing ball choice before teeing off at first hole, after choice for the course. (as that the first time you see what ball you seem to have in play,

  Would be interesting to have the option of changing balls while at the Tee. Thanks for suggesting this.

  When you select "Play" it's play!

  Only when you select the tourney in the game client you will see two buttons "Equipment" and "Tee off" for your desired choice.

  Firstly, your remark "Only when you select the tourney in the game client you will see two buttons "Equipment" and "Tee off" for your desired choice."  is abracadabra for me. 

  What is "the tourney in the game client" ? Can you explain ? 

  Secondly, in real life I only starts playing when I HIT my first ball, not when choosing tp participate in a game. 

  My proposal here is that "when at the first tee, you can choose your ball that you want to play with". This also happens when a ball is very low on points, so you can upgrade the number of balls. 

  In this instance apparently, the last ball I used in the previous game was exactly finished when I finished that game, so the mode goes back to the standard ball. If this would not have happened, I would have received a warning to buy new balls (which I would have done). It seems unfair to me that in similar situations, one gets different options (or actually no option at all. 

  So I do not agree that this cannot or should not be modified.
