Friend's Account Hijacked

    I have a friend that had he account hijacked. My Friend who needs to be nameless because of the T&C had her account stolen a few days ago, Friday to be exact. The person guessed her password and went into her account and sold her clubs and used her credits to gift level up boosts.

    She Emailed WGT 4 days ago providing information but nothing has been done. WGT Admins can you disable her account until this issue gets resolved? As Is whoever stole it is able to log in freely and do whatever they feel using her identity and image.

    It sure put some perspective on this game we love and how some people are willing to take advantage of others without even thinking.

    Not to mention WGT's lack of urgency in an offense such as this seriousness. But her name is not and it has dragged out this long hoping it will just go away. It's one thing to break in and steal stuff. It's another to wear someone elses clothes and prance around like a Diva, and another for the authorities in this case who need to go nameless for the same reason as above to allow it and do nothing.

    It also taints the results and stading of the TransAmeica Championship.

    Go ahead and send a pm to one of the moderators (including myself) and we will see if we can assist with some aspect of this. The correct thing was to email Customer Support so at this time the best thing we can do is check in on the status.

    The resolution to this issue was quite shocking and I can not post in here what it was. I could email you the results. Those with loads of credits might be interested

    I DID email WGT Support on behalf of this particular member, who happens to be a dear friend and a member of my CC ( until she was hacked)

    WGT's reply to me? We need the member to email us directly.

    Well, first of all WGT...she DID email you...some days ago as Jackie said.

    Secondly, she doesn't have the email address she started her account with because of an age problem right at the beginning, which you, WGT are aware of.

    What the person has done with her account is horrendous...and blatantly obvious...gifting THIRTY -SIX level up boosters in a row? Are you kidding me?

    ALL her good clubs have been removed and replaced with starters.

    This is a player who was running an equal 2nd place in the Trans Am Tournament after the 1st round, and now has no chance at all of even competing in the 2nd round.

    Stop dragging your feet WGT and do something NOW for this player.

    Just for once, see if you can bi-pass protocol and red-tape, and take a stand against the pig who did this.
