Hence why this game is actually "Northern hemisphere golf tour" and NOT WORLD golf tour. As far as I know, Australians and New Zealanders have the same "issue"

Just for the sake of correctness, we in SA are allowed to gamble on sites outside of our borders, so whats the issue with us being non eligible? Chad ignored me when I put this to him too.

Think about it, we can win rg's and weeklies/monthlies but we cant win the credits for a major? How does this make sense?

Makes as much sense as a waterproof teabag..

WGT, come on man, get it together. Allowing a player to spend their hard earned money and precious time to play in a tournament, then come to find out their country is exempt from collecting said prize for winning, amounts to theft by deception on your part. I am confident WGT can afford to pay Estienne 50000 credits, if not for the sake of doing the right thing, then do it for the sake of positive image and good sportsmanship. After all, we are not communists.

I would've thought he would get something. Pretty elite group of winners he's joined there and he gets nada? Seems a bit pointless really.

Agree him not winning anything is unfortunate. But obviously if you want to win something maybe you should read the Terms and Conditions?

I mean if a 15 Year old goes to Vegas and hits a jackpot on a slot machine, do you think they are going to pay him? Obviously not because hes not eligible to gamble. Maybe he can ask for his winnings in Snickers bars though?

Participation is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. Note, however, that only individuals who are legal residents of and physically located in the fifty United States and the District of Columbia, Canada (excluding Quebec), the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Australia, the Netherlands, Norway, and South Korea who are 18 years of age or older or the age of majority in the entrant's state or province/territory ("province") of residence, whichever is greater are eligible to win the Sweepstakes prize.

    BeachedMulligan:

are eligible to win the Sweepstakes prize.

Is it relevant that he was not playing for the sweepstakes prize? He was playing for the outright low score prize.

Of course it is. If all he wanted was to be the low score than good for him. He obviously did it and put up an awesome score. I'm just stating if he or anyone thinks he should "win" any sort of prize, he wasn't eligible.

Edit: Nevermind I see what your saying, id have to go back in and look at the grand prize or whatever the low score prize is. I'm going to assume its the same rules.

hE DID READ THE RULES, THEY STATED "OPEN TO ALL COUNTRY'S". If you sign up as a 15 year old here in WGT it will not even let you join a tournament that has prizes in it! So your analogy is wrong in every way.
