Questions from a new boy

  I have been playing a few weeks now and there are a few things i don't yet understand

  1. How is it that I am a PRO already ... I was only a hack for a few days?
  2. Why does the ball hit off as much as 30 ft right when you hit a perfect shot?
  3. Somehow finished 8th in a nearest the pin challenge do I get a trophy or something?
  4. How do you get near the pin on the third in the nearest the pin challenge it makes me weep every time....

  Welcome KillerStewart!

  1. Your average of 80+ puts you in the pro category. Everyone starts at hack and there is a certain number of round to qualify. Besides that you are good.

  2. You have discovered the Beast. Use the search function to the right of the screen, and type in "beast". You will get a bunch of explanations.

  3. There are several nearest the pin competitions so that's to answer. Usually the start up for the competition describes prizes.

  4. Again it depends on the course. They all have a number 3. Stiff upper lip old chap :-)
