If someone can answer this, it would be appreciated. I looked through the FAQs and could not find anything regarding the Hole Info screen that appears before you tee off.

Specifically, what do the numbers that are shown on the green indicate? On some courses nothing at all appears except the picture of the green. On St. Andrews it's pretty obvious the number indicates the yards from front to back.

But how about Kiawah Island (to name one)? On every hole the numbers 2, 1 and 3 appear in descending order, there are three lines going across the green dividing it into thirds, and these numbers appear, also in descending order: 12, 20 and 14.

If I am missing something that should be obvious, my apologies. But I cannot figure out what these numbers mean...and how come some courses have no numbers at all.

    Thanks!

These numbers pretend to be "stroke saver" information, but they have no relevance to the game.

@KIA, 1 - 2 - 3 obviously denote green areas for pin positions which should be indicated at the reception: "Today, pin position no. 2". No relevance in WGTland because nobody tells us "Today, pin position ..." and we have fixed pin positions which are visible through the different views with direct distance measurements.

The numbers next to the green appear as measurements. Again, no relation to the pin positions in the game, and they are fantasy numbers, not correlating with the yardage numbers in the reverse green views.

    Disregard them!

I'd love the option to turn it off permanently.
