I take it as granted that Par3s are "out" for FW hits, from observation and because the regular proceeding is NOT hit FW but green. OTOH, any shot ending on the FW should count.

I found a Driving stats screenshot of 2012, when I played with 3WD as a Driver replacement. It is from STA and shows:
Driving Average 0 yds
D Accuracy 100%
Longest D 274 yds (not too bad for a 230 yds wood!)
