Best thing you could do to ramp up the interest is allow cross CC challenge tourneys to be set up.
Been playing this great game a long time, there are not too many things that get old hands buzzing though. The annual US open is one. cc vs cc tourneys are another but matchplay can be painful to set up and chase everyone around to get their games in.
CC tourneys that can be set up to allow entry from 2 or more specified cc's would be a success for WGT and the players imho.
I remember Lvietri set a cc challenge up a couple of years ago, was a huge success but painful to administrate. Never seen so much participation in the CC.
Make this easier to do by allowing multiple specified cc's to enter a cc challenge tourney & clubs will use it for sure.
