A couple of CC requests

  Hi all,

  Currently the owner of Southern England Links GCC and looking into setting up the new Winter Tour.

  A couple of things I would really like to happen (have searched, but couldn't see anything relevant) if possible:

  The ability to choose which members can enter a CC event - if you hold qualifiers and want a certain say 10 players only to play.

  The ability to pre-set an event start time, rather than hoping someone gets up early every day to set it first thing!

  Are the winds going to be made a bit more constant for an event. Even if it's just the ability to set winds to be from 1 quadrant (north to east or south to west) for the tournament in question would be great, as we all know winds can deviate during a round. This would make things so much fairer for all.

  Are these being worked on or is it something that will never happen?

  Not much of a chance, I'm afraid to say.

  Users and CC owners have been asking for basic CC admin tools for a long time to no avail. Apparently there have been talks initiated by WGT about ameliorations - minutes have not been published.

  Now there is a promise for CC changes in the Releases tab ==>

  We'll have to wait for that :(

  I don't believe in promises of politicians, companies or clergy - DO IT!

  (Will you keep the promise of a Virtual Tour Major on Bandon Dunes in November?)

   

   

  OTOH, I overlooked the improvements in CC tournaments - facts pro WGT.

  LOL

  English is my first language - and Alosso can chalk one up on me too!

  But nice to see CC improvements are on the way "very soon" Icon, I just hope they are really improvements as CC's are really the lifeblood of WGT in many ways.

  I will reserve judgement until such a time that the promises become reality.

  I'm assuming from Icon's response that one or more of your 3 suggestions Affo are inbound soonish. Knowing them it'll just be one of them. Probably setting start times although I hope it's one of the other two.

  Disappointing that none of your suggestions appeared after the latest upgrade.

  As none of my wishes have come true this time around, are they even in the pipeline?

  The choosing of entrants is for me the most important, if you want to have qualifiers through a month for a final round, you need to be able to pick and choose participants.

  The wind is next and then the setting time of tournaments.

  Finally...e-mails to club members....going to be fixed? I have knowledge that my club e-mails are not getting to their recipients...surely this can be fixed please.

  Anyway, like I said, a simple yes, it's something we are trying, or no...we are not looking to implement these would be great.

  I have a new Tour to schedule and knowing this would help with a few ideas I have.

  I'm sorry your ideas may not have been in this latest update. Rest assured this isn't the last update for Country Clubs. You should be seeing some more new content for Country Clubs and other aspects of the game. Are your suggestions in the production line? I can't say. I just wanted to let you know that we do read these requests and are aware of what players are hoping for.

  Why can't you say?  I's there anyone who can say?  I thought that was the whole point of THIS thread.  Being clear on what is in the pipeline would stop a lot of 2nd guessing your next moves on here.

  We have seen from the VUSO that it is possible to have qualifiers and then restrict the main event to those who qualify.  The ability to manually enter players into a tournament would be a huge step forwards for CCs

  Oh and please give us the option to turn off that pop up to buy a CC pass that smacks us in the face before starting every round now.  Just give the pop up when you have passes available to use.  Thank you.
