Green speed?

  This may be a "deer in the head lights" question buuut, 

  the # that sits next to the green speed for exp;  Green Speed: Tournament 12 

  a.) what does the 12 mean?

  b.) hoping there isn't a part B,,lol.

  Stimpmeter came to WGTland. Read in "feet".

  Where have you been the last few months Edge.....lol

  We knew all the old green speeds ...   champ, tourny, v/fast  etc.  There were times when playing a comp (eg Tourny) we would notice that the green speed was fast one day and slower the next comp

  So Wgt came out with the Stimpmeter readings for each green speed.   You might see Tourny 12 (normal) or Tourny 12.5 ( faster)   ...Champs start at 13.

  Green speeds are still the same as we know it,  but now each green speed is graded with a Stimpmeter reading.  The same reading as real golf course use.

  Doubt that this will help much, but in my experience with tourney greens, I add a foot.
