More than likely you missed a deadline to play.

    Thank you for your reply.

Apparently my screenshot of the bracket I attempted to show is not visible.

    8/10/14 Tierless Speed Bracket #50527 9 Hole

My second round score was the same as my opponent 79BRADY66

Why did 79BRADY66 move on to round 3 and I got cut?

Well it seems I just need to carefully read the bracket tournament rules regarding ties.

It seems a bit convoluted, but if it works for WGT I guess I'll  learn to make it work for me.

    From the brackets rules.

    How are ties handled?

If two players post the same score in a match then the tie-breaker rules will be used to determine the winner of the match.

In the event of a tie, the better scoring entrant between or among the tied entrants will be the entrant with the lowest combined score for the final nine (9) holes of the Game. If any ties remain, the better scoring entrant between or among the remaining tied entrants will be the entrant with the lowest combined score for the final six (6) holes for such Game. If any ties remain, the better scoring entrant between or among the remaining tied entrants will be the entrant with the lowest combined score for the final three (3) holes for such Game. If any ties remain, the better scoring entrant between or among the remaining tied entrants will be the entrant with the lowest score for the 18th hole (9th for nine hole games) in such Game, and any remaining ties will be determined by identifying the lowest scoring entrant for each individual game hole, in sequence from 17th (8th for nine hole games) through to 1st, as is necessary to determine a winner, and if any ties remain at that point, the earlier-submitted entry between or among the tied entries will be deemed the better scoring entry.

However if WD showed - you did not complete the round within 30 minutes it would show you as WD.

Speed Brackets are a waste of time IMO - I have no problem with the 30 minutes a round, but assumming you qualify for the next round, you need to set aside 2 hours for the bracket if you get through. So if it takes 15-20 minutes for 9 holes, you have to wait around not playing till the time is up - I would rather play with frineds or play a CC Tourney.

In my case I was playing " Master Bracket 9 H Free # 103569. My score was posted 36 but for the next round I did not qualify, the scores that went ahead was 40;39;41&37.

This was not a speed round and the game is still on with 4 minutes to go.

    Any good reason?

Because your not directly playing everyone in your bracket, only the co-joined opponent , one below or one above you joined by the line.

Wrong numbers - they are from the second round.

There's a perfectly correct reason: You (lower righthand side) lost in the first round against the 34 score of the player above yourself. Other scores are irrelevant because Brackets is a one-on-one distant stroke play "match".
