Make the CC pass per time, NOT per round

  fyi the pass is a one time use. every 12 hours you use it when you are at your day in with a multi player stroke game for 18 holes for more exp points, later on this will bring a fair % to your individual exp so leveling up to obtain better equipment will come quicker for players who need to get to the level they need for better equipment  but the putter pal and the shot pal is a useful tool if you know how to use it , in the future who knows what wgt has in store for us so stop complaining and use your own common sense see how that works out for you, the one thing i see is that at least they're trying to make this a more enjoyable exp for all of us not just the hacks and cheaters and the whiners who expect miracles from an online game daa

  do you think I'd bother with this thread if I wasn't interested in helpng my cc?

  any one with half a brain would get my point.
  it's a great idea, but poorly implemented,
  it should be able to "survive" resuming of rounds. pretty simple.

  My game just crashed while I was on my pass (very rare for single play), and the pass was still active when I refreshed and restarted. I wonder if the pass is a cookie that is lost if you close the game window (with auto-cache-clearing).

  but in my case I didn't close the browser just refreshed the lobby window,
  and it offered me to buy a new one.

  IMO it would be better to give it a 2 hour time period,
  and just extend the wait to 24 HRs to compensate for any additional rounds,
  OR switch to flash cookies instead of regular ones (i.e game options settings).

  Nothing will be perfect, but overall per round is best IMO.

  I have a question for Icon, Shoe or Admin2.  In a regular game, if the game aborts abnormally, you still receive the swing credits but don't get the bonus points for completing a game.

  Does the CC receive points for each swing taken, or do they only receive points once the game is completed?

   I'm pretty sure the points are for each swing taken.  I notice when playing I looked in the CC roster and points earned went up after every shot.  Sorry, just noticed you were asking the admins but just trying to help provide an answer when and where I could.  Have a nice day and God Bless-GD

  Apparently  so, I had the misfortune to use the pass and the game crashed after my drive. Only one point was awarded for the CC and myself, also the pass was gone :-(

  I would have expected it to as well. Sometimes something comes up and we have to stop playing for a while.  The game remembers where you were in the round, I'm surprised it can't remember if a pass was used at the start of it.

  I assume this is a bug, hopefully it will get sorted out.

  I doubt it, the way admin commented on it, suggests it's on purpose,
  but it doesn't necessarily have  to be you that resumes. what happens
  when you activate a pass on a foursome AS and one of the other players
  hits the F5 bomb, or even worse, quits on the group?
  well in that case your (maybe purchased?) pass
  is going right along with him, and that just ain't right...

  2¢ etc..

  Just to be clear on this; you don't have to use the pass as soon as it's available? It is a waste to use it on a CTTH, right? If I wait and use it on an 18 hole tournament game or a 4 player 18 hole game (unlikely to happen), I would earn much more EXP points and if it I got my continuous play bonus, too, it would be considerable.
