Just pointing something out.  Now that CC's can set tees, hitting from the easy tees still effects average no matter your tier.  I can see this being abused.

This can turn into a huge issue! What's stopping someone from setting a tourney from the Easy tees with the easiest conditions, and hitting it over and over so as to lower their average. How is this fair to all those who lower their averages by means of hitting within their tiers conditions???

I'm betting WGT treats these as practice rounds when they see a mismatch between tier and tee.

Really only hurts the player in the long run.  The best players on the game know exactly where to hit the ball every time to get the best result.  They do this by playing over and over again from their tiers tee.  To play from the shorter tees will give them a short term lower score but when they have to play from the longer tees, really going to hurt.

It does give more options though. Playing off different tees means you have to think shots through instead of just hitting on auto-pilot.

Having a lower average doesn't really give you an advantage if you're game doesn't reflect your average.  It more likely to hurt you when you do have have play RGs or match play contests from the longer tees.

Thing is, people have found a way through match play to "work" the system.  Granted, it does really only hurt in the long run.  But until now, to go from Legend to Tour Legend the only way to get there was through legitimate ranked round play.  That no longer is the case.

Legend title used to hold my respect and admiration.  Then when the anti sandbagging came to be, that shifted.   Now TL has also become a tarnished title.

Also, I thought it'd be fun to hit off the kiddie tees and see a new perspective.  But when I realized it drops my average I won't be hitting any more of these.  I personally don't want a low average because of hitting from kiddie tees.
