So someone sets up a tournament for their CC with red tees. Are lower tier members of the club going to be very happy sharing their only advantage with legends? An open tournament for all members of a club with all members hitting from short tees might cause a revolt. Sanity will prevail. Yes, there are people out there who want to be in the HOF and will use PED's to get there, but they are a minority. The same is true of legends wanting to be tour legends.

    AndreasHelke:

Playing tournaments from different tees is definitely fun.

This is my way of looking at it too.  Obviously a TL playing off short tees is going to have a big advantage but I doubt anyone ina country club is setting up premium tourneys from those tees.

We've got a few red tee tourneys running in our club, it's still a novelty and I'm sure it'll wear off after a while though.  For now playing driver, wedge or even driver, putter on par 4 holes is great fun.

Of course it's making a bit of a mockery of averages but on the other hand I hit a 51 at Kiawah last night and my average only dropped 0.02 so the effect isn't exactly massive.

I will keep playing the St. Andrews front 9 from the easy tees until I am a 61.5 average Tour Master. That should only take a few more days. Then I will switch to the Legend Tees and try to figure out if I really want to become a Legend the easy way before I actually am one with no way back.
    Achtung!

Any score below the threshold will be an enormous accelerator to the promotion. Use them thriftily.

    And: Have fun!!

now every1 will  sail on to the TL tier "only using red tees"

ps  right! red tees st andys here i come!!!

I know you're probably speaking facetiously and/or generally, like, painting with a broad brush...

But my CC doesn't have this option and I don't intend to use it. To the players who do try it, well, they have that choice.

Exploring what the game has to offer is what this is all about, I just hope it doesn't cause many more divisions within the community, as there seems to be a few people who are seriously against it.

They don't have to share.  Just set up tier restricted CC tourneys.  Problem solved.  And as a side note, Hack Wilson was a great player in his day.  :-)

I apologize if this has already been posted, i couldn't be bothered to read through 6 pages of posts,   but would it be possible to come to some agreement with TruGolf to allow Cabo and Whistler to be available for cc tournaments with however many CCXP it takes?

I will echo many of the other posters, very nice roll out of this upgrade. I really like it, and enjoy the addition of the PP and SP. Very nice job indeed!

Could some kind person tell me how to put the Info button and message on the Country Club list page.

    Thanks in anticipation.
