Getting sick and tired of players quitting in the middle of rounds, whether they are playing bad or their partner is playing bad.  WGT should come up with some type of penalty for those that just get up and quit, maybe charge them 200 credits from their account.  Conversely, award those that complete rounds with credits.  The quitters are really getting bad, can't even get a round of 9 holes in sometime in 1 evening

I agree, maybe there is a way to suspend their account for 2 weeks once they reach a certain number of incomplete games. Just a thought!!!

You get fewer quitters as you move up in tiers.

seems to  be  new  glitch in game.  If  you  attempt  to  enter a  chat while scorecard is up,  you forfeit match.

Think business: Which shop would penalize their customers without losing them? This is impossible.

Play with friends or in a CC - social bonds are the only means for a better situation.

Stop being such an *** creeper to WGT Alosso- so typical of you- this is a serious issue what these guys are talking about! Try and come up with some offence to the problem instead of defence to WGT!

Actually, harlo, in this instance Alosso is completely correct. There are many country clubs who make it very clear they stress not quitting games. Many have 250 members, providing a large group of opponents you don't have to worry about. If someone quits there, it's clearly a connection problem.

When you play the general public you are stuck with whatever you randomly get. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad.

WGT allows you to control your own experience with regards to this issue. A good CC is the best way to deal with it.

I agree with you srellim. I don't care much for Alosso's condescending replies in the forums but he is right here. Who cares if someone quits, it's frustrating but you get what you get online.

Golf, for me, has always been more about beating the course than the person I'm playing with. I play with people for the company mostly and for the competition occasionally. This is priority one for the CC I belong to. We use TeamSpeak to talk to each other while we play promoting camaraderie and an all around better game.

Find a CC and quit trying to give control to WGT to police the bad seeds.

Yes, life happens & sometimes you have to go. Just like real golf, I make sure I have at least a couple of hours to finish a round before I even think of teeing off. It's called courtesy to others. And, yes some do get disconnected & it's not their fault. I would guess from MY experience that these situations make up about 1 out of 10 players who vanish sometimes during the FIRST HOLE. 9 out of 10 of them are QUITTERS. Period.

What happened to the backbone in people now days? If you can't face a bit of adversity on a golf course & especially a video game, what do you do in real life when it throws you a curve??? I find it challenging to work my way out of trouble -THAT is part of the game of golf & what makes it so great! Like Rocky said, it ain't about how hard you get punched. It's about getting back up & moving forward. That's how winning's done!
