    WGTdbloshoe:
We don't save every shot every player makes.  However if they save the replay or share then the shot is saved.  Not sure how long the shared links are saved but I would imagine quite a long time.

That's good news, though still curious you say you don't save every shot but (almost) every shot can be shared and the data is retrievable via the shared link, so presumably that information must be stored somewhere?

...thus 'available for quite a long time' is great news, effectively giving players 'unlimited replays'. This is a welcomed revelation for me :)

    Apples, peaches ;)

The OP talks about shared replays, those sent by mail rather than being on the profile.

You're on the money , though I guess I'm talking about pears... copying the shared link to a forum thread or elsewhere.

    alosso:

Take care: The latter work only while they ARE on the profile, unless copied in a second special process. Scott know it.

I copied a shared link not on my profile but into a thread on my club forum and another member viewed it a day later, it worked just fine :)

    ScottHope:

The easiest answer to this is, if you have cherished replays saved on your profile page, and I don't mean to your blog, then do not delete them even if you have copies saved somewhere else.

The safest way of creating a replay is to share it instead.

I'm happy to have learned of this, wish I'd known before. Previously I was saving the shot then sharing it, which you can only do 10 times.

Now I realize that the lifespan on a share is pretty much indefinite (which is almost like a save anyway) and presumably can be shared to a player's blog and given a facelift using the insert/edit link options.

Soon I am going to have a library of replays, lol.

    Am I missing anything? :)
