    OK, so what do I do? What is different about your link, allowing me to see the chart?

    Your second link works Steve  : )

    @ 'Apollo18'

    Here's a third example  - using a combination of  posting an image to show a league table, using html to display data, and also storing/displaying the data online for all to see too.

    Scroll down the linked page to see an example of each.

    Hopefully you'll find what you are after from all the replies thus far.

    Regards,

    Johnny.

    @ Messrs. Scott & Steve,

    Behave you two! LOL

    Honestly... all of the above pointers were discovered through trial and error (mostly error).

    Throughout my time on here I've had some great help myself from folk, including Mr. Hope.

    Easiest way to learn for me is - if you see something and wonder how it was achieved - just reply to the post, quote it, then hit the HTML icon to see how it was done. Tweak and adapt to suit your own needs........simples.

    Gotta 'run' literally......................    'kn stomach bug!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ;(

    WigerToods2010:

    Here's the EXACT same table, again,  just copied and pasted direct from Excel 2007.

    This time I'm on Firefox as I post.

    I've edited as previously with a slight change ;

    <table border="1" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="450">

    Date Course Holes Tier 9 Holes 18 Holes
    06.26.12 Best of Strokeplay Front 9 Ready Go  Front 9 All Players 32 64
    06.27.12 Legend Kiawah Back 9 Ready Go  Back 9 Legend 35 70
    06.27.12 NKF Cadillac Golf Classic  Full 18 All Players 59 59
    06.27.12 Bethpage Back 9 Ready Go  Back 9 All Players 32 64
    06.27.12 WGT Best of Famous Holes Back 9 Legend 32 64
    06.27.12 Elcc June Handicap 04  Full 18 All Players 70 70
    06.28.12 Kiawah Island: The Ocean Course Front 9 Legend 31 62
    06.28.12 Royal St Georges Back 9 Ready Go  Back 9 All Players 32 64
    06.28.12 Bethpage Back 9 Ready Go  Back 9 All Players 33 66
    06.28.12 The Olympic Club Front 9 Legend 28 56
    Last 10 games average: 63.90

    So the background color ... I noticed they were in Hex when you edit in HTML ... can you use a standard color or do you need to check out the hex color chart?

    Hello Kat,

    Both examples of the same table that I posted were taken direct from Excel - the only difference being the browser used.

    The Firefox version shows the background colour exactly as it appears on the original spreadsheet. I did nothing to the coding whatsoever other than the minor edits I mentioned.

    From the above I can only surmise that different browsers deal with html in different ways ?

    As far as hex is concerned ........

    I prefer to skip those lower digits and head straight for that well known high end 60+ number.

    YEAH BABY ! Now we're talkin' my language in these forums.
