Is it possible...if so how?
I know you can send gifts from pro shop but cant find an option to send a driver as a gift from my inventory
No, you can't gift from inventory, only from the Pro Shop.
From the FAQ:
Can I send an item I already own or do I need to purchase a new item?
You must purchase a new item if you plan on giving it as a gift. You cannot gift items that are already in your inventory.
Simple answer, you cant gift your equipment. You can only gift from the pro shop.

you can sell it back to wgt at a 1/4 the purchase price i believe
