Just played 9 holes ranked  where my opponent was winning by 2 strokes on the final hole.  Kept going over his time and was getting penalized after his first warning.  He disconnected then re-logged back in.   He made one shot then started to go over his time limit again  The game finally disqualified him.  Yet at the end of the match he was declared the winner.

Is this a bug?  If not than it is pretty much a way to guarantee a win if you are ahead entering the final hole.  Just keep going over your time allotment until the game disqualifies you.  It does not add your penalty points at the end of the game.

    Hey JoeJitsu.

I'm sorry that you experienced this. You should contact Customer Support when you experience something like this. Normally the disconnected player (who is disqualified) should lose the match. I highly recommend contacting our support team. Make sure to give them the following information.

-Type of game along with the ID (Skins/Blitz). If it was a Match Play provide the opponent name.

    -The date of the game

-Amount of credits the game was for.

They will be able to assist you quickly if you provide all this information on the first response.

I sent a message to Customer Support with as much information that I could remember.  Hopefully they can help.

If you were playing ranked stroke play neither wins anything anyway. You're not really competing against one another because the game doesn't record winning in stroke play against another player. You're basically just playing concurrently on the same course at the same time. Match play is recorded as a win but stroke play is just your round as if the other player wasn't there anyway.

    This!

Due to incomplete programming, any player disconnecting or DQed will "win" in the end if he has less strokes from his cut-off participation than you have. Nevertheless, as the Last Man Standing, you are entitled to feel as a winner.

Then, the game (and I guess, you too) will forget the score.
