  +1, Took the words out of my mouth mate-sounds like it was good  game though.  Maybe ABQ can advise and have them play again in the  match format.  Would not be proper to have some games in different formats.

  The tournament official match format for the single players is Match Play, and this match is not considered valid.

  Sorry, but you will need to reschedule.

  The venues for the quarter finals will be the following:

  alternate------------> Best of Par4 full 18

  What part of "stroke---------------> Oakmont full 18" did I not understand?  If it was meant to be played as Match Play, why say it is "Stroke"?

  Hello everyone!

  I took the time to review the match arrangements discussions, and I see most of the matches have been already agreed for a date or played.

  Just wanted to recap here the situation, and send a few notes.

  Serenity Club vs Southern England Links
  Serenity Club  already won 2 of the matches, so they will pass the round.
  Since the Alternate Shot has been scheduled and agreed, you can play it if you like, but it is not necessary for the outcome of the round.

  OK I admit there is a bit of unclarity, because of statements on first post.
  People asked questions in the beginning of phase 3 and I posted the rules for phase 3: there is where is said the game should be MP.

  As a matter of fact, all games of phase 3 have been MP because of the new explanations.

  HOWEVER, and only because we do not want this phase to last longer than needed, we can accept the result if Agassi, Golferdad AND their captains agree to accept the result of your match.

  as i understand it ..this match was played with golferdad inviting agassi for stroke play...

  and as golferdad mentioned he interpreted it as stroke play due to the game being written as stroke play.

  .since it was played head to head together ..i will standby the result that agassi won...and due credit is given to golferdad for owning up and being a very good sportsman ..kudos to both of you for a very hard fought match....

  Alberto,   if Golferdad and Agassi both entered the match going for the victory, then as Bridgestone captain, I would be willing to let the result stand.

  Indeed, it was myself that raised the issue before round three started that playing stroke play may result in an overall tie (page 43 of the thread).  

  Although they both probably missed that part of the thread (very understandingly),  they played stroke which produced a result.

  Aphrodite therefore wins the Stroke/match play part.

  I be back home from work on Thursday about 22:00

  So  18:00 - 23.00  Thursday will be Ok

  I would like a little time to warm up so nearer 22:30  -  23:00 would be good  :)
