not when the xp points come into play they aren't

As an option, yes, but not when comparing two identical games as I understood the OP.

Yeah you posted the xp points but this leads to inquiring more about mulligans IMO

Sightly more if you take mulligans, as they counts toward ball hits.

Don't you get like 1 point for a hit though?

18 holes, ranked or practice: 200 XPs

    Double XPs for tournaments.

1 point per stroke, granted immediately.

So, assuming I've done my math right, and if you own a CC and create a BO Par 3 18-hole game (as I always did), and you can hit 9 holes in just under 15 min.s (18 in 29 mins) AND you take to 2 hour XP Boost for about 486 creds.....

...AND finish 4 (18 hole) games in just under 2 hours AND you hit around a score of par AND you start your 5 round before the juice runs out (then it automatically lasts till the game ends), you can get almost 3178 xp points. (in approx. 2.5 hours)

Maybe more if the CDP is added? I forget.

Plus, if you can handle the speed up game boosts without going mad and pay the extra creds you may compound it all by playing faster.

..and I don't believe Par 3 affects your average.

In a CC, if permitted, you can make tourneys off all courses you want, determine the payouts, cut lines, single/unlimited. This way you get more xp per game. The WGT tourneys are good but sometimes they are the same courses. If you make your own game you can map irons is a specific wind, or you can make CTTH tourneys.

I was tourney manager in another CC and the owner didn't like that I made a BO par 3 a single. He didn't win the match, but I thought it was a great idea for a single, windy, par 3 game. He eventually went AWOL and I left and just made my own CC.

Plus my CC is proof of a level 2 CC that hasn't enabled hitting from the baby tees.

I've actually never played a practice round, so I have no clue about certain factors - one of which is XP.  All other things equal, do you get more XP from a practice round over a ranked round, less, or the exact same?  I was just wondering.

All things being equal, both the practice and ranked rounds games will give you the same "completed game XP", so it comes down to swings.

If you're just chasing the most possible XP, I suggest playing practice mode.  An 18 hole round in ranked will give you a maximum additional 180 XP (and also mess up your average if you're not saturated in your tier).

You can get 270 XP in practice mode, if you take the maximum allowable swings and it doesn't mess with your average.

I've found if you clear your Flash cache before you start the round, the Best of Par 3 course is the most stable when playing with a CC Pass.  If you setup your game to play on the easy tees and just stay on the tee box (by taking a really low powered swing and clicking extremely early), you can finish the 270 swings in under 40 minutes, which is pretty close to playing a ranked 18 hole game under par.

Just be sure to equip starter balls.  You can burn through a couple of golf balls if you don't.  Also, watch out for hole #10.  There's a nasty black hole on the first swing if you happen to click the "Take Mulligan" button before taking that first real swing.  This is a for-sure CC Pass killer.

You can take as many mulligans as you can stand in practice mode as previously mentioned by others, and you do get 1 XP for every mulligan.  Tack on mulligans and it comes down to how much monotony you can handle.

FYI ... I do this once a day right before the "new day" starts and use my CC Pass.  I've racked up the most CC XP in my country club using the Practice mode (and lost only 2 passes ... once by clicking the "Take mulligan" button on hole #10 and the other because I played on Pinehurst #2).  BTW ... WGT refunded these lost passes ... just contact customer support.

I agree to 18 hole tourney for an eager player.

OTOH, the least time consuming way to collect XPs is the CDP:
Three holes, 10 minutes, 910+ XPs.

or play 1 hole with the cdp

    time 3 mins

    880+xps

Thanks for the input everyone.  Just wondered if there was a better use of my CC besides playing in an 18 hole tourney for 1350-ish XP.
