when I drag my meter to the power I'm trying to achieve it goes off way earlier while I'm still dragging it. this has been happening a lot lately over the last few days. I found if I just let it go to the end I can shoot again. But.. the timer keeps ticking an it takes up to 5 attempts sometimes before it's where I want it. If it's joes game and he choose 30 sec timer then I'm kinda screwed! I don't run anything else while playing and my pc is up to speed.

Sounds like it is your mouse that is the problem ! ?

I noticed this happening to me for about the last 2-3 days.

I will check everything on my end, but I found it curious. I also have to be careful, when it happens, that I don't click and hit the ball - I let it go past and I start again.

The meter will release by itself after 15 (20?) secs of dragging/holding. This is not a bug but it has been a feature for 2(?) years now.

    FWIW

On my end, and only maybe 5 times in the last 2 days, it started happening and it happens just a second or 2 after I've 'grabbed' the cursor and start dragging it over.

Like I said it might be my mouse, technique, etc. so I'm giving it a cleaning and a check but I replied because someone else noticed the same thing.

I didn't mean to exclude the mouse. Batteries may unload, connections may become weak...

I'm adding a strong suggestion of a simple corded mouse which excludes two major fault sources: Battery and Bluetooth.

One way to check for a faulty mouse is to enable Mouse Keys.

    OP,

Replace the batteries in your mouse.  When I have the issue you describe., its always the batteries

Now I have noticed since the last update, that a lot of times, I cant stop the meter when using my work computer, so much so that I time out.  Now I don't even try to play at work anymore.  lol.

ok, I have a corded mouse, optical and about 1 yr old so its not the mouse I think, when I drag, its 2-5 secs at most, and other players are having the same problem....
