  It is with deep regret that I inform WGT and  members of the death of a true gent and friend to all.

  Daniel12649   

  He . passed away  finally losing his battle with cancer on 29th August 2014.

  I received an E-Mail from his wife,this morning notifying me of his passing.

  I told her that I would inform his many friends on WGT.

  He will be greatly missed 

  My thoughts and prayers go out to Rita his wife and all his Family.  R I P  Dan.

  That is so sad. We become a family here. This the second post in the last couple of weeks I've read. In our CC we believe we lost a member but we never did find out..... he had been sick but after he was not on for months we assumed that was what happened. After that we got a forum thread going with all members email addresses . If they don't show up on WGT we can at least email them where hopefully a family member will see it. Our CC has an age restriction you must be over 50 years old. We have members as old as 83 with most in their 60's & 70's. so this hits home to most of us. Please send this CC's regrets to his family from all of us.

  Didn't know Daniel but it is always sad to hear news like this one :-(........someone who shared the fun of this game with us.

  I didnt know him either but im sure lot of you did still very sad indeed may he R.I.P.

  I didn't know you either Daniel, but I hope you can meet up with some of the other WGTers who are up there, and you can have a good chuckle at those of us down here who are still struggling with these flippin' pixels.

  Me neither and agree that it's sad.....perhaps as country club owners, a  Tournament named after Daniel as a tribute in each of our clubs?

  Didn't know this player, but it is always sad to hear we have lost one of the WGT Family.  Thoughts and prayers sent from everyone here on our end.
