Do you have anything in the works to try and counter these auto ding programs and slowing the flash down? If so how close are you to bringing it into the game?

Not wanting to start a large thread on this issue, just wanted to know whats going on behind the scenes.

There may be many that are using something ,and again there may be just a few.

    Just was wondering

Not sure WGT would post it here if they do have any counter measures.  Those who are using the cheats would have more information to help them counter the counter measures of WGT.

I'm with you though, it certainly would be nice to know if they are doing something or working on additional ways to monitor/counter said cheats.

You can say that H, finally after being here for 3 years I get to where I want to try some RGs ,then this Auto Ding thing comes out , public, and I would bet the farm many  many players have tried it . You just never know but some of those scores in the RGs sure make you wonder.

If anyone from WGT would like to answer , but not do it public please PM me.

Ain't happening, Gary, they ain't gonna be spilling secrets (which I hope they have.) IMO, unless this thing can be determined by analyzing the round data the only way I can see that they could fight it would be by messing with the ding, deviation style. I don't know enough about how stuff works to be sure but from a layperson's POV it would make sense. Would totally suck, too.  LOL

OK how about messing with the flash, like randomly pause it then start it up again, try to throw the  momentum off.

     Think that would work?

OMG, I can see the meter complaints then. LOL. I have no clue what they could do. I'm sure there's some savvy types that could offer up ideas.

Think about it , if you are in control of the ding ,so to speak ( those that don't use any meter help, be it auto ding ) you will pick up the pause, and just  swing again.

I don't know about anyone else, but it happens to me quite often, the meter just stops for about a second or so then moves on. I just let it go by and try again

I would like to see the meter paused at the top of the swing for various amounts of time instead of racing through the hitting area to defeat the programs based on timing you set yourself...totally defeats the advantage of paying for slow meter balls as it is now...I took a ball with a 3.5 rating on the meter and put a 3'0 in play and it was slower for awhile...

nothing they can do about CE slowing the meter to a crawl on the users pc...
