Thing is, should we have to save the round half way through if we've got a good game going? No we shouldn't!!! I think wgt have put far too many things in place to combat cheats that it's effecting the honest players here. It'll drive them all away in the end and no one except the cheaters will be left playing.

Quite often these days i log on with the intention of having a good ready go session only for the game to start acting up 2 games in. Thats when i switch off and find something else to do. The game isn't fun like it used to be.

    andyson:

Have you given up on this particular challenge JF?  Looking at your score history, I couldn't help but notice you haven't logged a full 18 hole round going all the way back to June.

Yea I was into the 18 hole rounds when i played the 18 hole tourneys for max xp points. Now I don't want xp, but I should try a few 18s. I just got 2 sleeves of Cally yellows 37. Best of Par 4, 18 holes sounds like one goal.

edit: par 4 (18 holes) for a few < Silver Vanquisher Awards

35 foot birdie from fringe RSG 15 (holed approach shot number 158)

    I didn't load the cally 37s!

edit: used the Cally 37 yellow w/ the G25 L59 got the Gold vanquisher award Best of the Par 4 but didn't clean the flash, etc. during the turnaround.

A recent 18 hole game on Olympic (using the G25s) was interesting, and it got me the Silver and Gold 'Olympic Obliterator Awards' !

    hey guys

I just wanted to step in and clarify that there are no 'slower' servers nor we move anyone anywhere for using a pass or not using a pass. that's entirely your choice.

That is not answering my original post mr wgticon.

I never have meter issues until i start putting together an above average  round for me, Then meter starts playing up. And by looking at the other posts on here i do not seem to be the only one. I would like to ask Those guys who are top of the money leaderboards and those with mid 50s average if they experience the same issues ? because if they do i would like to know how the hell you can get an average in the mid 50s with meter meltdown. I assume those top top players cannot have any problems with meter stutters or they have a way of stopping them

If it's not technical issues with meter / connection / CPU load ..., it may also be VEM. This feature is designed to make the game harder when you are good at it. The screw may be tightened after a good start, and losened after a bad one. I friend, top Legend then, reported that a certain round starting with a bogey then turned out to become one of the best he ever played...

You've been here longer than me, Bobby, and played more games than me so I expect you've been told quite a few times that meter problems are mostly at your end. Well it's true.

You really need to clear all the junk from your PC and give it a regular defrag and disc scan. Then use a free download like 360 Amigo to keep things running smoothly. There are dozens of browsers out there which may work better than the one you use and a game booster might help too.

I clear caches and have a clear up before every session. Yes, I know it's a hassle but if you want this fussy old site to run properly then give it a go. I looked through your stats but I'd better not go there or I'll get the forum bullies on my back. Hope this helps.

EDIT. You must close down everything apart from the game client while playing.
