    Being a dunce, I must ask : in the menu options is flash quality. What does it do ? Where should I set it ? ~ SP ~

    The higher the quality setting the smoother the game displays.

    I set it to High and that is good enough for me.

    I get a smoother meter set to medium, guess it just depends.

    Merci beaucoup Mr Apex....incidently, I'm with you...I don't think Mr. Hogan produced a bad set of irons. Actually, I believe his entire line of blades, over the many years, represent excellence without another example ~ SP ~

    I have heard long time ago that this item is for certain Flash details which are not part of the game. I simply leave it alone.

    Lily, I notice the biggest difference in the quality of the club shaft, the course logo, and in the pin.  On my screen at low settings the damn pin disappears!  There is also a difference in the appearance of the ding line.  Thicker at lower settings.  But it has no affect on dingability.

    I set the quality a bit lower when my meter was playing up, the biggest issue I found was on the green the dots became big pixels just jerking around here and there.

    Now that I know to clear flash cache (BIG turning point for me) I leave the image quality as default.
