Shared Shots not going to email

  It was working fine 09/11/2014, but not anymore. I tested by sending a shot to be shared to my own email three times but nothing shows up. I checked my spam & trash folders, not there either. Please fix this asap.

  It works here as usual, instant transmission.

  Are you sure? The last 2 replays that I e-mailed myself never arrived. (Edit) I just tested it and it worked correctly this time. But the last 2 before this test were lost  in cyber space.

  Tested twice more, it's not working

  This was with Cox, I tried with my Yahoo mail & it's not going to there either.

  WGT are you listening?

  Sorry to say Willie it might be on your end. I just sent myself another replay and I received it in just a few seconds.You might check your spam folders and see if for some reason WGT e-mails might have started going there.

  I refuse to think that a standard mail account would treat those mails differently on the spot.

  There have been mailing problems in the past (I suffered badly, but they disappeared without any technical modification), and currently there are some complaints in the air.

  I postulate these to be WGT flaws.

  can you try something.

  change your email to another address and then see if it fixes itself.

  Thanks Icon, that fixed it. I'll try switching it back & see if it gets back to working also.

  Yes now the original email is working fine.

  But how can we be sure it is going to continue to work without checking it each time? I would hate to get a DE or HIO & not get it saved. I know I can just save the shot to a text file, so unless you have other reassurances that's what I'll do.

  Not at all - WGT's mailing system has some kinks which need arbitrary action like "a new account address" to overcome such jams. It's two years that I was hit by this, "solved" six months later by said user's workaround.

  I just had a great eagle on # 14 at Merion and sent the replay to 3 different e-mail adresses on yahoo,gmail and roadrunner and none of the 3 received it. I might try Icon's fix later. 

  I do have an extra layer of protection so to speak. I copy the URL and save it to a notepad text file. That way there is at least 1 copy of the replay on my PC. I started doing that about 2 years ago when the share replays was broken and none were being sent. 

  I will try Icon's fix and see what happens. 

  (Edit) No at least not for me Icon's fix did not work. I get the other e-mails from WGT just fine. The share replay seems to be totally broken now.
