It might be interesting, but most likely of no value. Most of the best players miss the white line on purpose, depending upon the wind direction and the shape of the shot they wish to perform, and most players, when putting, hit either early or late to counteract the break.

    *** yourself

why are there so many ignorant assholes here

If there ever add the fade/draw it would eliminate most miss hits on purpose.

    Also it could spot cheaters

    i dont see why not

So it doesn't have value for the best players.  NBD. The other 90% of the players could find it both interesting and useful.  I've wondered myself if I use a certain GI ball if I hit the line more often than while using another ball.  A game statistic would be useful, not a lifetime stat.

How? Of what use? Enlighten me. What would it do? What would it mean?

I gave a hint above when I said I wondered if one GI ball was better for dinging than a different GI ball.  Not enough?

I could use a GI single dot ball for 10 rounds trying to ding the meter on every shot and keep track of my ding % and compute an average.

Then use a GI2 double dot ball for 10 rounds trying to ding the meter on every shot and keep track of my ding % and compute an avg.

Compare the two numbers.  Ta-Da!   Useful information, at least to me, as to with which ball I ding the meter better or which ball gives me the best control over where I click if not trying to ding the meter.

    Capisce?

Well, of course, that is the point. Who cares? You can hit the white line 10 out of 10 times, but if the improper club or aim is in place, the white line can't cure stupidity.
