We are always working on bringing more courses to the game. This process takes time as we send people out to the various courses so that we can recreate the course to as close as the original. Once a new course is added we will let our players know.

How many courses do you need to not be bored?

We currently have 11 stroke play courses, plus 5 Best Of courses, or a total so far of 16 stroke play courses.

However, WGT currently has 2 courses in production for stroke play. Both have had the 300,000 or so photos taken WGT needs to put a course online and we should see them added in this order:

Bandon Dunes - 18 of the par 3 holes from the Bandon Dunes Resort golf courses.

Pebble Beach Golf Links for 18 hole stroke play.

We also know that the next US Open venue is Chambers Bay and WGT typically adds a new US Open venue for Virtual US Open qualifying on or about March 1st. So look for Chambers Bay March 2015.

We already have the 2016 US Open venue - Oakmont CC - so that will free up WGT's programmers after Chambers Bay has been added.

Since WGT recently entered into an agreement with the PGA (that's why we got Valhalla for CTTH) it is possible we will start seeing some of the courses the PGA owns or uses.

I wonder about the status of the agreement WGT with the Royal and Ancient regarding British Open venues, but it seems very, very unlikely we will be getting more courses from outside the US any time soon.
