Well another over par round thanks to your friends at WGT. I can't believe I play this for money or credits whatever the case may be.......Besides the dancing meter you hit your dinger and fly 20 yards right ,absolute BS....Then there is the 6 foot putt you hit on tournament greens at 7 feet and come up 2 inches short . Come on your making money hand over fist and you can't fix this .Does the exact thing happen to every player on the same hole NO......Simply not fair. Also I would appreciate it if you would quit making the meter dance so you can steal back the golf balls  I purchased.

I'm right with you man.   But don't worry, know they latest fix from WGT?   They're gonna fix the way they compute our averages....lol!   Yeah, right!

That's the way to respond to our complaints.    Anyone here ever complain about their average being computed incorrectly???

What do you mean respond?  I asked a question over a month ago and I am still waiting on a response other than the automated message that you get once you submit a question.

Yeah, I haven't paid any money into this game, and I don't think I would.  I'm sure I suck enough on my own, but there is something wrong with the power bar.  What you see on the screen is not representative of what the actual I/O is reading.

Flash is fine for videos, but it isn't good for user input.  The power bar animation gets ahead or behind the actual data point.  If you are watching the screen, you aren't seeing the real timing.

I'm sure when your processor load and network lag are nominal, it works great.  But I've notice hiccups, several times.

Never pay money for a flash game.  It isn't an accurate language.

The meter is not a WGT PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There has been so much posted on how to fix this. From using different browsers to adjustments to the flash player. Have you ever noticed there are not that many complaining about the meter. If you do not believe me search it! There is a whole thread on how to fix it.

No sense complaining about something thats not going to be looked at or fixed.

Everyones computer in the whole wide world that plays this game is the cause of the meter jump. LOL

Permission to talk frankly Sarge?  Those are not fixes in that thread.  Those are our workarounds for problems in either the WGT code or in the Flash program itself.

I use a new laptop, core i5 processor 2.27Ghz, 4G ram, an OK but not great video card with 1G mem, and high speed internet using Firefox to play WGT golf.  I only do two workarounds: set affinity and clear my browser cache after playing several rounds (5 to 10 when meter starts getting choppy).  I have 85 processes running.  I still get an occasional lag, mainly in multiplayer.  Keep in mind this is a newer system, older slower systems with less memory would need to use other workarounds.

The set affinity workaround is, from what I've read, because Flash does not multi-thread properly with the new multi-core processors.

Why does clearing my browser cache after several rounds help?  Beats me!  I does imply that either FF, WGT, or Flash doesn't like it when the browser cache gets full or messy.

I've always contended if our systems exceed the system requirements set forth by WGT, we should need to do absolutely nothing to our PCs to run the game smoothly.

If the problem is in Flash, its still WGT's problem because they chose that platform for the game.  WGT needs to take ownership of the meter problem.  They need to implement workarounds in their code, not us implement workarounds.  They need to get all over Adobe to fix whatever the problems are with Flash.

I only wish the Geico psychologist played on WGT.  He'd say "Those jackwagons who tell me its my problem are living in namby pamby land and could use some tissue!"

    LOL
