Yep.... The ability to 'close' the club and do nice touch shots like that around the green is something sorely missed here.
Being able to 'pop' from the fringe or light rough is a great shot, there isn't anything I've seen other than short pitching with the ATV 64 that comes close to that.
In saying this, the game is limited in what they can do with it as far as shooting,hitting balls, so I'm not complaining or anything.
The sort of have half of it in play already. Moving the ball back in stance to generate backspin is good, just have an 'adjusted' swing with no follow-through, just 'chop or pop' the ball out.Same swing meter, just a little 'selection box' at the end of the swing meter .. [] close face. After you take your shot it resets or clears to normal mode.
Easy.....
