I know there has been a lot to take in today with the release tonight, but I still wanted to feature our CC of the Week.... A Band of Brothers!

This is one is very personal to me.  As many of you know Phiber(Leo) has been battling Cancer the past months.  What you don't know is I have been doing the same.  I was diagnosed in March of this year and have had two surgeries and well as 9 weeks of Chemo.  I can't express how much it meant to me to be able to speak to Leo about this.  Even though we may have never met in person, it was extremely helpful for me to have someone to talk to about what I was going through.  Especially since he was doing the same.  I can't thank him enough for what he did for me.

So please let's all congratulate Phiber, Mgbirish, and Theduckinator for running this club.  They are not only a great asset to this game but have been to me as well.  Thank you for everything you have done and especially for your Service.

To read more about their club please go here.

Well done to A band of Brothers CC .  And a very nice post by Shoe .

This kind of thing makes you think that this is more than just a game to some of us here in WGT land . We are all Brothers and Sisters .  We should all be happy to have a game with friends , Be it in real life or not .

When friends play the score does not matter , We all finish the best we can and we all win .

    OPY

Not sure what to say first so I will just list them in the order that come to mind.

Thank you to all the members of WGT for your service to your country.

Congrats to Band of Brothers for what you do for yourselves as a CC and all the members of our greater WGT Community. I applaud you,

Finally, as a cancer survivor myself, I applaud all who have both battled this horrible life event and as important those who support them in their battle. They are simply the best,

    Ed

Thank you all for your kind words. Just a bunch of veterans, who have a family in our club.

We are proud to be a part of the WGT family and community.

We all, about 99.9% share the same core values, Family, God, and our Sisters and Brothers on WGT!

We thank you for the honor, it will be cherished!

Who is more deserving of this honor than this fine bunch of folks.
My family men served in all the wars...WW1 - WW2 - Korea - Vietnam.
One of my best of friends served and returned home a "Wounded Warrior" in Iraq.
As close as the military is to me, I cannot even imagine the experiences of the men and women who served our fine country.

    Respectfully, I am Yancy

Congratulations is the least I can do/say.
Here is a video I saw earlier today that I hope conveys the pride these soldiers have:
