Club Owner Looking for a Club to Merge With

  Hello Dubfore,

  Sorry to hear you are closing down the club. I know how hard it is trying to keep on top of everything, I am on my PC every day for hours on end updating website and trying to find new ideas to move forward. The activity part is the most important thing to me, most of the other things you look for seem to come along when you have an active club.

  We at Freedom Fields have just over 50 members we have reached level 7 and nearly every week player for player we are the number 1 CC  on WGT for xp points. We have just finished our order of merit season and are looking for new tourneys and ideas to see us through to next season. I do a lot of booting and recruiting to try and get a very active club and will continue to boot out inactive players.  You will be welcome to come and join us and take part in what we have to offer and maybe if all works out well come alongside myself and other 2 directors to keep moving forward

  Hi Michael.

  Our guys and yours enjoyed the craic in the TZL comp earlier this year - more of the same is on offer at UK Golfers Elite .  If you'd like more info, pick up my friend request, and I'll PM you with some details etc :-)

  Edit: a couple of months back, we picked up the mainstay members from the now defunct Sandy Paradise in a similar situation. I can safely say that every one of them has found this a positive experience, and if wanted, would be willing to testify to that, should you want references ;-)

  Hi Dub, you and your members are welcome at Clubbanditos, we have recently had change of owner but the prev owner , like myself, is very active both playing and creating the monthly league tables. I set a lot of comps (thread forum ones not just the common or garden cc ones). I am always actively advertising, because trying to get club participation is turning me grey by the day lol. Up to you mate as i know theres some good clubs out there, so good luck with your search and i hope you and your active members find a club which matches your enthusiasm.

  P.S We have no website and theres some reasons we dont have one (mainly the few of us who do the work are overworked as it is) but want one.......so all yours

  I'll second that. Dub, you know our club and some of our players and we would love to have you guys on board. We're around 95 members and somehow are always around the top 10 XP despite being half the size of the clubs above us.Think we've made club of the week twice.

  Aside from all the regular weekly events (free and paid) which all contribute to our Hall of Fame listings, we have 6 majors a year, club leagues, knockouts, Ryder and Walker Cup, Pairs comps and loads more. We also have an Uneven Lies weekly tourny - for those guys that do it on a slope - affectionately known as 'Psycho's'!

  On the fun side we have our Friday Night Beer Club - usually drunken Alt Shot matches over the weekend (hangover just kicking in from last nights sorry attempts to play golf while under the influence) - and we get loads of our members all turning up - some of them even sober!?! We have an Alt Shot league too - great way for the members to get to now each other - something we are passionate about.

  DJW2307 (David) is our main man - an endless source of energy and master of the dark art of keeping us rabble in check. Possibly one of the nicest, most sincere guys in WGT land - an absolute gent. And the craic can get lively at times. BUT...there are absolutely no egos, no dramas, no sandbaggers and no cheats - testified by the ever changing list of our weekly winners.

  We have some top golfers too - but none of them are full of themselves. Our top two golfers currently are both Irish - and 3 of our top 5 are hardened Guinness drinkers - which probably says all that needs to be said about our club lol.

  There are some great clubs out there mate - whichever way you go hope everything works out for you and your guys. Obviously, would be great if you join us but you have to do the right thing by your lot. Have a chat with SteveP - and David!

  As Steve said, we recently had a CC do the same and join us - they have been a brilliant addition to the club and we get loads of posts from them saying how much fun they're having.

  sounds like fun lol, law suits will follow, in alternate universe... falling into a dream like state, now whispering ...... as Steve steps up to hitt a 22 foot putt, he putts a 40 gallon keg  down hill with a slight break to the left and runs over dude from other CC, oh well cant win them all, and Steve yells pour me one for what's his name, Play on...lol ...the scene pans to a doss xx comericial where the most interesting guy in the world says..... Stay thirsty my friend.

  We have plenty of spaces available soon to be a level 8 cc . We have stroke play leagues, ctth leagues, tier leagues, matchplay leagues, special member tournaments, paid and free set by members, very active and social club (with no cheats) our own voice server if you prefer to chat than type in real time. Have sent you a friend invite if you want more details such as basic club rules etc and we welcome ideas from all our members as at the end of the day it is their club. Look forward to hearing from you

  lol...more likely to hit another player with my putting than the hole! Do you think I went far enough? :) Stay well Alex, and may you never know a thirst like mine! lol.

  Hello looking for 5 players who would like to be in an active club,we only have a 50 member squad by choice, and have about 40 plus posted scores in our weekly Major  , ran more like a golf tour, we ask players to  play 5 to 8 certain games a month and be active in a great place golf enviroment , we welcome you for trying us out.   Alex . Most players do accept friend invites, some skype, some don't and just chat. If you miss a Major, it's understandable... they last a week and there unlimited play, but chances are you wont miss two, our core of 35 players really like seeing our leader boards full, your always welcomed back, Only members who don't get any grief from missing a Major here and there are members who have won two Majors , members going on Vacation, members who are iLL. just keep me or the other directors in the know... we are not a new club, and we have had 63 Majors in a row, We have Monthly events , that have been going on for a long while, your invited to start your own games, If you join, you get free putter pal, free shot pal, and create events from any tees you like. we can have up to 12 events going on at one time, but only ask you to post 8 scores a month , in certain games .. but feel free to play them all if you like, and we do have some Prem games 1 or 2 usually going on, strictly voluntary to play. Most players that join, usually don't leave on there own, they love this place and the friendships we make, ... Alex

  Also looking for some Simulcast event right now CCvs CC, What is this club owners discuss playing the same exact event in each of there clubs , same course , same tee's , same wind, agree how many players or all will be used , if all might have to add scores and divide, if you choose top 10 to 50 players , then the team with the lowest score wins , first few events will be simple, 9 holes, the event will last a week, it will be unlimited play, if anyone is interested, let me know, my skype name is alexborges1963 or my cell phone is1 813-778-8084 ... with this type of event 3 or 4 clubs club play each other at same time... easy to check each others teams scores just know one player from each team go to his score history, click on event and look at leader boarder.    Maybe later we could add a face book page for posting winning teams , great shots, commentary. this could be as big as you want it or as simple as each club wants to keep it... let me know   Alex .
