  Let's see. Right off the top I can count 5 WS rings in their camp since I became a fan. (Hardcore longtime fans would say 28.) How many have the Dodgers "bought."

  Of course I am happy to see the Cardinals in...but Cards vs Giants is getting old LOL...

  It is refreshing to see the Orioles and Royals in, hope to see another I-70 series with both MO. teams playing, wellll, as long as Don Denkinger isn't one of the umpires, last one didn't turn out so well....

  Don wouldn't have been safe walking through a retirement home in St, Louis after he blew that call LOL...

  Andujar was crazy anyway, he truly believed he was the best hitter on the team and used to drive Herzog crazy trying to get Whitey to let him pinch hit...lol

  Every at bat for him was either a K or off the wall or home run...that's why he was so much fun to have on the team....

  The best was his interview after the win in the '82 Series...my friends Mom owned a bar where a well known(very well known) cocaine dealer sort of based his operation, who was also Dominican...Andujar thanked his team, his family for support, and gave a big shout out to his best friend the drug dealer on national TV....we all just looked at each other and said "he didn't just do that did he"...LOL...but that was Joachim.
