It's a good idea but clearly a money grab by WGT.   You need rich WGT addicts to win this thing.  Too bad because it could be a really cool thing.

    alosso:

The Clash ends in 25 hours,

    the event in 1 hour,

the clash within in 5 hours.

It seems it is coming back to bite WGT that they have not bothered to fix the event timer bug for around 6 months now. The RG clocks in the game client are always wrong, and now the clash clocks give different end times for the same thing.

I would hope that other players in the club are happy for the player who receives the putter.  I would think that with a strong club with good relationships would rather pat the player on the back then become hostile.

Would've thought the "bank" option would be obvious here. Win the golden putter, goes into CC bank, then maybe is available for other club members to try or a lending thing or any other number of ways to help spread it through the CC, and not grant it exclusivity. "Join my CC, we have a golden putter available to members who reach a certain criteria, etc..."

    Just my 2 cents.

So basically it is absolutely pointless for us smaller clubs to even try! we are currently twice as many points behind the leader already who have a far bigger club.Least i can go back and tell my CC members not to bother wasting credits buying passes.

    This!

Besides the fact that I might sleep during the second round and be at work during the third, there's hardly a chance for me to play the next one since I don't want to pay for the neccessary pass.

O.k., it may be special that all our members live in the same time zone, but that's a fact.

    EasyEdward:

    Shoe:

    Go to the event

    click on EVENT REWARDS

Position 1 gets CC Pass X5 /  Speed Boost Ultra / Max Putter

    etc.

that is what I was asking about.

The benefit of finishing inside the top 250....

Ok so these are given away to clubs that place in the Event.  So if you are position 1, all members who played in the clash would get the 5 CC Passes and 4 Speed Boosts.  Then 1 player would get the Putter.

You do get a free daily pass (which i'm not sure can be used on this clash thing?) and your club gets some free super passes.  I agree that it should be based on quality over quantity but how is wgt going to make money for new courses using that strategy?  lol.

Not really, it's a subject of mixed terms and cut-off display.

"Clash" and "event" are two words for the same thing obviously, while "Clash" outside and "clash" inside are one word for two things.

=> "Clash 1" is the event, containing several clashes.

And the event timer inside should show the same thing than outside, e.g. 25 hours. Instead it displays (1 day) 1 hour, contributing to confusion.

In movies there is a "continuity" crew - fully missing in WGT's development crowd.

Yes we get a free daily pass, which most of us used up when we logged onto WGT way before this tourny was open.Superpasses? still don't see the point in them unless we are going to play this clash event long term(which is very doubtful after now seeing how it works)But you may have a valid point about paying for new courses lol.

Now the clock says 24hrs and I don't believe a new clash has begun...

Do you guys test these things before throwing them to the masses?

Yes, the CC pass can be used as a permission to play in a clash.

We get a max of two free passes per day, but the clash event is four CC vs. CC matches in 25 hours. Thus above the number of Superpasses available each player who wants to play all four clashes will have to buy one or two passes.

    pling-pling...
