Now the clock says 24hrs and I don't believe a new clash has begun...

Do you guys test these things before throwing them to the masses?

This Event is going for 26 hours, so the clocks are currently correct.

    Go to the event

    click on EVENT REWARDS

Position 1 gets CC Pass X5 /  Speed Boost Ultra / Max Putter

    etc.

that is what I was asking about.

The benefit of finishing inside the top 250....

Ok so these are given away to clubs that place in the Event.  So if you are position 1, all members who played in the clash would get the 5 CC Passes and 4 Speed Boosts.  Then 1 player would get the Putter.

So basically it is absolutely pointless for us smaller clubs to even try! we are currently twice as many points behind the leader already who have a far bigger club.Least i can go back and tell my CC members not to bother wasting credits buying passes.

You do get a free daily pass (which i'm not sure can be used on this clash thing?) and your club gets some free super passes.  I agree that it should be based on quality over quantity but how is wgt going to make money for new courses using that strategy?  lol.

Yes we get a free daily pass, which most of us used up when we logged onto WGT way before this tourny was open.Superpasses? still don't see the point in them unless we are going to play this clash event long term(which is very doubtful after now seeing how it works)But you may have a valid point about paying for new courses lol.

    Russell

That was sarcasm.  WGT clearly is spending it's money on anything but new course.  Love 'em but they aren't bringing us nearly enough new courses. Why not try to get us some "regular" courses instead of these uber exclusive courses?  There are millions of great "regular" courses that would probably be easier to get access to.

There's little WGT can do about the time zone issues, we're going to have to live with that.  Most clubs will have members from different zones so hopefully will get scores posted in all events within a clash.

However, regarding the undoubted advantage a club with 200+ members has I think many people would be happier if WGT only counted the best 50 scores posted by a club, only one from any club member and kept it unlimited play.

That way WGT still sell passes to those trying to improve but small clubs can hope to compete with big ones.

As it is they have zero chance.  I thought maybe the bonus for winning an event would balance it out a bit but of course it wont because big clubs will get those too.

Good idea but it needs some work.

So when I tried to play the next event, and it took me to the same course as I played in the first event... I was actually playing the 2nd phase of the clash?

Perhaps now, at <24 hours left.

In the beginnning, it showed 25... hours outside and 1... hour inside. Not a correct display.

And do the Super Passes start over at the start of each phase or are they limited to what they are when the event begins?

Huh?  Now the current event ends in nearly 24 hours but the clash ends in a little over 4 hours?

You guys need a new clock.

I suppose you played repeatedly in the first clash of that event called "Clash 1". So did I and accumulated points while spending one Superpass and one CC Pass.

Drop "fairness" from your thoughts - in terms of earnings it's close to perfect.
