I'm asking players to NOT BUY any more club passes, it's a racket to take your welll earned money, as is club v club (cash) clash (see below).  Our club is doing fine and the free passes we continue to use will get us to the next 'level' soon enough. The XP points gained by buying club passes are for equipment that's probably not needed.  Save the credits for sleeves for yourself. Or even sponsor a club tournament, that way the credits are shared with your club members.  This member had WGT sussed way back:      United States HOOLAHOOF  default.aspx

Just now got the whole clash thing figured out after playing it.
basically the only winner here is WGT.

it's not a test of skills, it a stupid merry go round of pass4play,
and quantity over quality unlimited rounds.
we could have 30 guys shooting 27s all day long,
yet it won't mean a damn thing when 200 ppl are shooting 30s and 31s.

the whole damn thing is nothing more than an elaborate  bulk
pass buying scheme for the big beehive CC's,
since the little ones clearly have no way of ever winning.

    Nicely played Chaddy boy,
you should really try your luck on wall street.

Well said gmaster.   I was told about this new CC v CC clash by a club member, he copy/pasted a post by wgtbloshoe >>>263755.aspx?PageIndex=1

This is the part woke me up:   "....- Use your super passes wisely!  You only have a specific number of them to use for a event.  These passes will give you double points for the clash.  So using the modified stableford system, a par would be 2 points.  Using the super pass will make that par worth 4 points...."

Anyone that continues to fall for this is a fool.   And what's that saying about a fool and his money............?

Now where's my joke I posted earlier...ahh yes....

It was a quiet day on the stock market when WGT was launched, then some joker shouted 'FORE' and the greedy pigs went crazy!

    Correct me if  I'm wrong!!

    ECBonus:

    alosso:

zag: There's a CTTH points scheme given in the FAQs =>

where the Putting CTTH might grant very high scores.

    DA: The FAQs =>
give 100 points to the highest scoring player. Thus Tees win 361 vs. 301 and get 500 win bonus => 861 in total.

One person played BoP 59 times during the clash

Well... Let's make him/her famous right here and right now...

I have to say, I can' t help but think this was done on purpose, there's no way that as a group of even remotely intelligent people this thing slipped by in the half-assed state it did.

No I give a bit more credit to those running wgt - I'm not sure if this was a cash-grab or what... but I would not be surprised to learn it was simply a piece, a part of their exit strategy. End of run so to speak.

The game, place is full or issues, it's becoming a very unruly monster to keep in a functioning state. At some point it's not going to be worth the effort. They know that 90% of the players here will 'try' what they throw out there, and with the way this thing was so vague in nature as it progressed by the time people realized what a bloody swindle it really was, it was almost over and they had thousands of dollars from everyone.

What did they give out in return? Not a thing of any value in the real world. Zip... .

I think you'd have to be insane to inject any money into credits at this point. I know I won't be that's for sure... I've got well over 1K of money into this place so it's not like I haven't contributed.

You won't get anything again, not unless you do the stand up thing and own this sh*tty diaper you threw on the f*kin' floor and refund every player in wgt at least 1000 credits.

*I'd keep track of deposits there skippies, something tells me you're going to notice a dip... Ya...... a dip alright....

That's what we thought as well Richard. My CC, Eagles Golf Club Association, played St Andrews over and over and Bethpage over  and over, during the whole clash because those were the courses provided when we hit the PLAY NOW button.

alosso thanks for trying to help but the math is off by 1.  they won 880 not 881 and one of our members shot the low score of 30....so we would have gotten the extra100...

Yep..  I shot a 30 for the Bandits.. dude you gave the 100 point bonus to shot a 31 for his lowest score. How's that work WGT?

    You see the discrepancy?

(can't explain the one point though)

Well, I think if they wanted to continue this kind of event, all games should be free, since there is no monetary prize other than 1 club for 1 player.

It could still be a fun event between clubs, with a little more thought put into it

    alcaucin:
    Chill all.....was basically a test ?

That's a pretty laid back outlook on this new feature Andy. Shoe started this thread like the CC vs CC Event was ready to play. Its only when people started playing the debacle unfolded. I don't believe this was a test.

Sure, its a good idea, and WGT will fix it, but there was too many glitches that just wound up disappointing players. And WGT just simply says, "sorry for the glitches, and thanks for playing".

    alcaucin:
It / this was a chance for ALL to see how it goes like EVERY new release

This is the problem. WGT needs to change their rules on how they introduce new features to the WGT community. It will certainly help WGTs reputation.

    SPINO1:

A simple soloution if i may WGT....

Set up a 4 rounder which runs all week (are you able to have all 4 rounds running at the same time instead of waiting for each to finish ?)

Have a minimum completion %  criteria , say 50% of cc members must complete each round ?

Make each round a single play round

Take an average of the total scores from each cc after each round.

    lowest average wins the battle.

FORGET THE PASSES IDEA YOU MAKE ENOUGH MONEY FROM BALL USE !!!!!!!!!

Top 50 country clubs with lowest overall average from each clash earn credits for the CC bank.

Failing that, call Carlo for some tips !!

    Google translate

    I apologize for this

I fully agree with all of this and thanks Stu for your consideration towards me.

Wgt have admitted to having made a mistake and then we want all of the 37 credits that we spent to play this event ........... if you organize a tournament where you spend money to play and if you can not go wrong do you have remedy by returning the money.

I repeat some of the things he said Stu and others:

    1) Absolutely no to pass and you superpass

    2) single mode

    3) best 10 score each team ........... lowest total score wins

    4) Who wins is always the same points (example 3)

    5) You can organize entries and participate only teams that sign up and you can create groups (or you can organize it in so many different ways).

The way you have it organized and wrong 'cause among other things compel us to play always and only to that because to try to win you have to try and play as many times as possible and not give us time to play with other things.

If we say these things means that we love you and want us to grow and grow wgt otherwise we would have simply ignored.

We all hope that you demonstrate at least a little attention to you and we'll be grateful.

    ps

In future who will have the putter will be the Real Madrid and the other will be the Real Marano (small bracket in the province of Naples, Italy)

    Cheers

    Carlo
