    alosso:

zag: There's a CTTH points scheme given in the FAQs =>

where the Putting CTTH might grant very high scores.

    DA: The FAQs =>
give 100 points to the highest scoring player. Thus Tees win 361 vs. 301 and get 500 win bonus => 861 in total.

alosso thanks for trying to help but the math is off by 1.  they won 880 not 881 and one of our members shot the low score of 30....so we would have gotten the extra100...

WOULD STILL LIKE SOMEONE FROM ADMIN TO LOOK AT THE BUSHWACKIN BANDITS MATCH WITH SMOKIN TEES....THANK U...

So we're fast approaching the end of the 1st CC Clash/Event or whatever it's called and i thought i would, as a CC owner give a few views on what i think.

    Good points

    1. It's a great concept this and something for CC's to compete in has been long overdue.

    2. It's certainly got the forum buzzing both in the main forum and in our CC. Even if most of it has been complaints.

    3. It gives an opportunity for every club member to contribute points towards their club no matter how good or bad they are and this certainly brings clubs closer together.

    Bad points

    1. It's all about quantity and not quality. More points are gained from scoring 2 rounds of 35 than 1 round 27.

    2. It gives more chance to those who have the most active members and not much chance to those clubs who have fewer members.

    3. For those clubs that can't possibly compete for the top spot there is very little incentive for them to play at all. Speed boosts are worthless in my opinion.

    4. Some have reported a few bugs but personally and also in my club we have not experienced any problems with bugs but if they are there then obviously they need to be sorted.

    Suggestions to make it better

    1. Instead of prizes like speed boosts, a better option would be for the clubs to win credits for their "bank" when that feature is finally up and running.

    2. Other ways to win points and not just pars, birdies & eagles. Like hole in 1 bonuses, longest putt, longest drive, driving accuracy, green in regulation, sand saves etc.

    3. Make the events longer. In 24 hours there's 18 hours where i'm either sleeping or working. In this last event i was only able to play clash 1 & 4.

Thanks for reading and i really hope that everything in this is ironed out and that every club member can enjoy playing & competing for their clubs.

and ^^^^ to Rich ( same CC I see )

    Chill all.....was basically a test ?

And BOTH of you....ALL of you in fact,

Bending the rules that were not set in stone as was pointed out at the start by WGT...

is not cheating, just let it go, cause you didn't find a 'loophole' don't cast a stone...

In fact the top players in that CC, were buying and gifting passes like credits to burn,

Put ya hand in ya back sack or ........!!

It / this was a chance for ALL to see how it goes like EVERY new release !?! ?

Was never going to be perfect but with a bit of fine tuning, I see potential here..

( tho I did predict a riot WGT lol )

    Andy

    Richard4168:
The new CC vs CC Event version has to have dedicated courses to obtain points on

I'd wager that was intention this time around.

    Richard4168:
in "single" play game mode only

I'd also be very confident in wagering that this will not happen... for one extremely obvious reason. How many CC passes you think were sold during this debacle?

    WGTadmin2:

    - We have a few bugs around using passes and also giving event points when using a pass even when you did not play in the event.  We will be fixing these and if you did not get points or had pass issues contact us for some free passes

    WGTAdmin2:

Over a week ago I volunteered to organize a test of the CC Clash between two CCs before its release that involved no prizes.

You replied: maybe but wouldn't you want the prizes?

My reply: No I would rather have it right when it comes out....

Seriously, WGT needs a group of 50 - 100 testers that will try to "break" it before it is released to the broader WGT Community.

    Just my opinion.

    WGT.

    Please answer.

I understood that there would be 4 clashes. We only got 3. All day today there was nothing to play, yet other clubs kept earning points.

Wouldn't you know. We were at #35. At the very end we dropped to #51.

We apologize for the issues in this release and will diligently work to resolve these bugs. Your patience is very appreciated.

Ya, that's very gracious and all there sporty spice, except for one small problem - Thousands of players (because there's thousands of players, right?) are out thousands of 'real world' dollars.

In what fantasy world to you think you can roll out a swindle like this and not figure you're going to have to reimburse your customer base, to at the very least show some sort of class and respect? Good god man, I mean really? They unleash this kind of screw up and debacle in Japan and it's raining executives and such for a few days. You do it and it's just business as usual, in fact you expect your customers to just keep right on pumping their cash into it.

Which is really the part that astounds me more than than anything - that there are still players playing.

A business NEVER goes to market with an untested product unless you want to find it's problems the wrong way.  Our little club was in 8th place until the "clash" shut us down and wouldn't allow us to play our 4th and final game.  I had players from our club that spent a lot of credits on the passes just to get screwed over in the finale.

    Never again!
