Look if I am brutally honest I would have fallen over backwards if someone had set that up in the CC I am in. OK I would not have spilt a drop save down my gullet, but over backwards nonetheless.

Reading this thread though highlights to me a certain gaming mentality exists (some parts) which I assumed would not - brutally honest.

All that said you come across as completely genuine. and nice of you to explain..

I for one do not see how any one can blame a genuine thought put together with good intent. There was also no referee to say where did you read that's OK.

No stones at all your way.

WGT made as big a stuff up with this start to finish debacle that's possible to imagine. The ongoing poor quality of the company continues to be shown by lack of anything since. Still the crud that are the gold putters in circulation...........

...poor programming and QA turned the event into a laugh, and the winning CC certainly deserve first place in making a mockery out of it. The anti-exploit clause in the T&Cs means nothing to me....

Missed my points: Difference between golfers and gamers. Strong moral fiber. That's ok though. Few do understand and stand firm. It's easier to slip and slide through life. They made a comedy about that called "Idiocracy", The real comedy was that in interviews the screenwriter said he was being serious about civilization crumbling. Morals. Attitudes. Beliefs. They mean something, and they have consequences, some seen now, some later. Reality is. Therein lies the rub.

I partly agree to the term "Idiocracy", but I have an easy view onto it in this game.

It's different to me if I ignore traffic or golf rules "because they won't get me" of if I use the game's weaknesses to my advantage. The latter is accessible to all - not my piece of cake if others don't get it.

And, given the commonness of game flaws, you never know if it's intended or not.

I'm here. Nothing to hide, I've just been amazed by all of the moral highgrounders. The boss of Augusta and myself didn't play in these clashes. In fact neither of us played that day at all.

I'd already made public that if my club won the putter that I'd decline it or not let it be used. A few owners have said that if any of their members had played in a loophole tourney then they would have ejected them but I doubt that they would. That sort of thing is easy to say but harder to do.

I won't remove members, some of whom are REAL friends just because WGT can't organize a tournament properly.

Did anyone know all of the rules to the debacle? I certainly didn't and didn't know where my club had finished until I was told the next day.

All that players won from this are a few passes which if not used straight away become negated by the non receipt of free ones. I think that covers it.

Well said Ms Fish, but I have to ask, you...as a very active club owner, who regularly screens its members for play, so as to keep the 250 or members active, ...

You didn't see or notice the PC Tourney setup to exploit the clash?

If you didn't and you slept through it...what are your thoughts about the members of your club that participated in it?

In most instances you are very vocal about running a club...so what is your view on the members of your club, that took that path?

Unbelievable Mr Baggese...that Courteney should have to explain or answer ANY of these questions.

As a CC owner, would YOU take responsibility for every action of your members? I think not!

And why is that? Is she something special as the touted owner of TPC? Hardly stupid, ludicrous and infantile questions, just ones I'm sure many had. I did. As it was, they were answered succinctly and with a reasonable explanation. Too bad it had to be drawn out as opposed to the high road that Sean took.
