fatdan:
I aim a little left of the flag, power up and let it go with another smooth meter and just as I am about to click, the mot## ^*$#%# meter shoots through the ding so fast(and unexpected) that the shot goes 45 degrees straight right OOB's...WTF!!!!
I know, it's your pc...well NO it isn't, that never happens to me in unlimiteds or practice,,,
OH, then you just hit it late...NOOOO, if I hit late I would have dinged it because I planned on hitting it a tad early, and the ball went OB halfway to the green...LOL
, I timed it, and as I clicked to execute the shot the meter was a mile past the ding line...and it cost me a ball...
I hear ya, Dan.
public legal patent:
The VEM has an associated representation...such as through a graphical display means...For example, a virtual gun can have a graphical representation consisting of cross hairs.. In the case of an increased user skill level, for example, the VEM could add additional variables for controlling the virtual equipment that were not available at a lower skill level and change variables representing...sweet spots.
Adapting the representation can include changing the virtual equipment appearance, the user interface...or combinations of these. For example.. the representation can be modified to provide an indication of such to the user.
WGT will never publicly admit in the forum that these 2 paragraphs are not explaining the meter and performance e.g. meter spikes past ding (almost blinks and appears past ding, even when fatdan or other players have clicked intentionally before ding, sending the ball OB or into water etc.) because that would legally binding so it's simply deflected by mods, or the members who are 'useful idiots', by choice sadly, like brainwashed, to think that wgt can't provide a normal meter for all players (even though 'crosshairs' and other similar gaming experience are rife all over the web providing great performance from web based gameplay e.i. the accuracy intensive 'world of tanks', to name one of several dozen)
