  Correct answer is , Iceland is split between the two.

  Inch by inch , the gap is growing, left is north america, and the right hand site is europe

  LOL, I actually knew the answer to the 2nd ?

  LOL, there is a reality TV series in the states about precious Gem hunters that look for gold and rubies in Iceland and they talked at length about it having a huge fault line that split it in half, how it moves and how it effects the water depth in the inlets etc,...the show sucked but the facts about Iceland were very interesting....

  When I seen that Hol was playing Iceland my 1st thought was Iceland must have a heck of a indoor practice facility, their snowed in 9 months a year lol.

  I thought Holland would run over them being somewhat of a Arjen Robbens fan...glad I watched it.

  Are you sure those guys were not in greenland ?

  the bedrock there has the gems you mention !

  Iceland has nothing like that. It is too young in those terms.

  It could be greenland and I was mistaken, but the show was on Iceland that I'm referring to, I watch a lot of National Geographics/Animal Planet while I'm playing...

  I was thinking it was that show (Ice Gold or something like that)now I'm not sure lol....
