Ok there seems to be a lot of unhappy people with regards to the CC vs CC Clashes, me included & who can blame us for feeling angry and ripped off.

Lets try & put some ideas forward that may help Wgt & us as Country clubs.

Please don't hijack this post keep it for what we think could or should be done for clases, if you just want to vent you anger then go to the CC vs CC clash forun

    Here's my ideas.

    (1) When Wgt ever gets this right I think the leader board should be wiped & a clean slate started.

    (2) I think there needs to be more notice given to CC from Wgt when another CC Clash          comes up to give all cc time to inform their members.

    (3) When we vs the 4 other cc in the clash the ponts system is ok but I dont I dont think that we should be allowed to play unlimited rounds, maybe 5 rounds each member & take the average from the 5 rounds. After all this should be skill based not who has the deepest pockets.

    (4) The points earned from your cc clash shouldnt go towards the cc leader board.
Points could go something like this 1 point for 1 win 3 points for 2 win 5 points for 3 wins & wining all 4 matches you could get 10 points that go on the leader board. ( Or something like that).

Waiting! Waiting! Take it easy on me these are only my thoughts and as a Country club owner would love to see these CC Clashes sorted out

Rodney, good post! However a few players, unfortunately will always find loopholes, this will never be fixed. I appreciate your input. Thank you! Why line Chad's wallet, he has enough already!

The CC passes are just a cash cow, spend your money, get little in return, wow add a director, get a few XP's, so when you level up you can spend money on new clubs or balls. The only folks who benefit from CC's and passes and CC clashes is WGT, plain and simple!

They are running a business, they are not non for profit, I understand that, but sometimes, enough is enough.

They are surely the opposite of Robin Hood and his Merry Men!

Your heart's in the right place Rod and those were good suggestions. I believe the limited rounds idea will be a non-starter.. WGT wants to sell as many CC passes as possible.

I hope I'm wrong, and I hope they come back with a CC vs CC game that's about fair competition and not who can buy the most passes and play the most rounds.

A good post Rodney but I agree with MGB.

For the clashes to work it will require going back to beyond step 1 - CC Points and rewards. There is no real incentive for clubs apart from increased comps, thereafter there really is nothing tangible.

Golden putters, better equipment for 1 player is not right, and will cause divisions - all members need to get something tangble.

WGT need to be accountable for their screw ups - this latest debacle highlights a lack of leadership and accountability.

Whatever they do, it needs to be fair to all regardless of club size or wealth of the members, have no loopholes and have something that benefits the whole club.

For me, this is a much better idea.

For me, I will never buy another pass - and I would be happy that the clashes are only for bragging rights - this can be done in CC vs CC organised by the clubs.

The only good thing to come out of this is the abilty to have stableford scoring done by WGT - implement this ASAP for CC's and you may redeem some of the damage you have done.

Agree Alan , " For me, this is a much better idea".

But buyer beware, until the rewards are much greater than bragging rights, why buy CC passes?

When the vampire comes you must drive a stake in it's heart before it drains the village dry.  Oh wait!  We are talking about passes and credits here and golden clubs not golden stakes.  I must have confused the golf forum for the gamer's forum.  My mistake!

This is the crux of the matter.  The whole CC pass system is awful.  We've told our CC members to not waste any more money on them.

I wonder if WGT actually explored the avenue that if they implemented a feature players actually wanted, they might sell more balls and cash in that way.  Probably not.

I can't remember the last update where wgt gave something to the players without asking for something back.  Probably the brackets(which still gives errors)

Oh well, I guess that sailed right over their heads...... Note to self:  Simplify the message.

No, they were honoring the OP's request to not derail his thread.

On the topic, I just can't get my head around the pass thing. Having to use that to compete obviously makes CC vs CC a " who can buy it"  thing. Loopholes aside, that 59 game run on BofP cost the player about $21.  And that was only 1 player in a short period of time-hours. Sure, it's house money to him (presumably) but not all players are flush with credits to burn.

Take the money out of it. Fat chance, I know, but that pollutes the entire idea of CC vs CC.
