Heres a question, if you know someone was cheating , manipulating the game would you still keep them as a friend in your friends list?

Another ? One has gone, and sent speed ups like going out tomorrow.  The other what hard evidence was there?  Still trying to comprehend that one as hate to think he was realising people here are v sensible though too.

Other than that I personally would, but I keep a trim list anyway.  I would just leave it that others deal with it how they wish, not considering it my business how they choose to personally handle it (rounded answer).

But Jim ,if you were so against it, wouldn't that be a conflict of interest?

Only if you can't get rid of them because of the WGT bug that doesn't display the Remove Friend or Message buttons for some reason.

you can  take off any player, or fix that message problem by blocking that player then unblocking player.

The answer to that should be pretty obvious - Just go through the friends list of notonthis, see anyone you recognize?

It's also pretty obvious with respect to the clique of little shits who do cheat, I mean other than it being thrown up in flashing bold neon text,  you'd just have to be the most gullible mark around not to see it.

It's not only the cheating that is at the heart of all the BS here, it's the fact that there are many players who simply are playing with neutral profiles. The deviation that is applied to the clubs, balls for instance is something that WGT controls. There is absolutely no reason that for certain players they're playing with little or no deviation. I'm more inclined to go with the ability to set a player profile with respect to deviation rather than having different versions of the clubs.

The belief that everything is applied system wide evenly with respect to deviation is just plain naive, you have a player ID number that is held within the member database, everything you do here is logged and they can pull it up.The fact that as you progress through your skill level and deviation is altered proves that it can and is applied at varying degrees. It would be set with a few parameters, Level, skill eval, GIR, driving accur. etc... once you clip certain criteria your deviation profile changes. That seems pretty plain and obvious.

No reason at all that certain players are simply playing with very relaxed profiles, because if that's not the case, then other than doing what Jessica did with her 49.00 rounds there is no physical way you can shoot 52/51 repeatedly in RG's, not if you're playing with the same 'profile' that 99% of the players here are playing with.

So it's either relaxed profiles or there are a whole whack of cheaters on here. More than likely it's a combination of the two.

In the end, don't really matter much anymore. It seems like this place has hit a wall.

One has gone and never on my list anyway.  So far I am still to be told of any evidence that was used re the other.  I am a doubting beyond all reasonable doubt doubting Thomas.  No offence to the v sensible people in this thread, but nothing shared with me apart from result, no evidence.  I understand the reasoning, but until a fair amount of time passes part of me still hopes he can come forward and say no you all got it wrong  because this or whatever.  I don't want to be one who says sorry to delete you so quick if that happened.

How others deal with it is not my business. Think one said he will let them delete themselves (requested they did so? without checking) and that's his business, not mine.  All v sad. this business.

    +1   +1   +1   +1

Call it what you will but I mentioned this so long ago and was rifled with alllll negative feedback. THIS ^^^ in its own form is just as bad as the cheating scum bags the only difference is,,,they OWN the game.

Be careful with all this though.

Personally having read what Steve said I walked away thinking very interesting, but also no first hand proof.  What I see as the real issue fwiw having seen the otto stuff via these forums is that it's the cheats that will make the real difference.  Can only go by my game, but Steve was not suggesting the game will stop a 55 average, just that he thinks RGs may be harder to win, and not finish 3rd in usually when up there anyway - way I read it, and knowing him a small bit - very fine line stuff.
