Forfeit .Here is an Idea that has most likely been said before. Its so simple.lol.

On the game page,  In a place that is easy to see but not in the way.

In red letter's (or choice of color.)

"WHEN LEAVING GAME USE  FORFEIT TAB PLEASE".

Or if that is likable. At least leave it on the load page to see while waiting for other player's.

This will speed up game play ,  and P off less people.lol      Another idea, when you hit the red x.  A window pop's up to ask,, if you would like to forfeit.

I think though forfeiting is a crappy way to play. I look at it like what jack Nicklaus said about the winning in the ryders cup. you should play against yourself and look at it as the holes challenging you not challenging to beat the other players if your game sucks in a round suck it up and realize you should play better not drop off cause youre not doin so well. it should be an indication to what youre doing wrong not to drop out demeanor the game for everyone else. I mean you do that on a real course and no one will ever play with you again

I still say if you forfeit voluntarily all other players in a game should also be prompted to agree to it. if it isn't the person forfeiting should lose xp points in order to make it fair to all others that have to wait in order for that person departure. this would limit the amount that happens far too often of people tryin to walk off because they couldn't hit the ball in a game that's bs and im sorry but you take what you get in golf that's how it works.

The problem with that is.. lots of quitter's are   kicked out of the game ,Not of there choice.

About twice a year...My provider takes me off the net .Bye the time I get back on.It's to late.

I'm learning not to play when its real windy, or during a bad storm.

that's not at all who im referring to again a vote system prompting up would allow the other players to say whether someone leaving in that circumstance would be acceptable and in most cases im sure most would agree it would. however more so than not ive seen far too an get caught in deep rough, or a steep hill, or  sand you name it and theytake 2 or 3 shots and then drop I highly doubt those people are losing connections when I know damn well they are dropping intentionally to not take a bad score which im sorry is bs. if you wanna do that crap play solo and not with a group. this system of being up a prompt for the other players to use if someone quits like that by placing a punishment of a loss of xp for a person who choses to do that crap its a simple program that could be improvised if a player clicks x vs a server crash that would bring the prompt to the other players in a game and theres not excuse why it shouldn't be made.

I agree wholeheartedly VL. Twice in the last two days I have had to finish a round BY MYSELF from the second hole on simply because of QUITTERS. Why bother to play with others if you quit so easily??? WHY??? I am soooo pissed about this! It's ALWAYS an issue. And then there's the famous 2-3 minute wait for a quitter that never returns. We pay good money to play this game & I am tired of WAITING on others' lameness...

I think the Menu tab option to quit a game at some point is quite sufficient, altho there seems to be plenty of players who aren't aware of it, it seems. But yeah, you have a point there: Just minimizing the screen and hitting the little red button at the top of the screen causes undue delay.

I mean, jeez -- the PGA has plenty of instances where guys who were 5 or 10 shots back won it just by staying with the game.Play 'em where you lay 'em, and don't worry about being outclassed by someone with a 63 average. Makes you a better player in the end.
