    Currently Lv68 using L33 Versa.

Thinking of an upgrade in the 70s. Debating between the L70 Versa and the L77 Nike.

I have read lots of old posts regarding "ding putters" vs "miss ding putter" not quite sure what that means. I do try to hit the ding and make most of my putts when doing so.

I am accustomed to the 15-30-60-100-150-300 meter but see the advantage of the Nike meter.

    Thoughts?

When putting 'missing the ding' on purpose is one way account for the break in the green.

If the break is left to right you hit before the ding line. If the break is right to left you hit after the ding line. But there is a limit to how early or late you can hit.

I 'miss the ding' on putts inside 7 or 8 feet. Outside that range I move the aim point and try to ding the putt.

IMO key putter features, regardlees ding or don't ding are the Precision and the Forgiveness

The Versa gives you a little bit more balance than the Nike and L 70 comes before L77 hahahaha . I have the L70 Versa and its a great putter and it can take you all the way to Tour Legend . You can putt either way with it as well . I am a miss the ding putter . This means that I either click early or late on the meter according to the break of the green . Left to right breaks you click early or before the ding and Right to left you click late or after the ding , all according to the break .

But the bottom line is what do you want ? No matter which club or clubs you intend to upgrade , it all comes down to what are you trying to accomplish . Are you upgrading to compete in the credit play events , or  just to simply enjoy playing a better round and the fun of the game .

Me Im a casual player and I dont play for credits but for the fun of the game . The only reason that I have most of the top clubs , is because the free credits I had earned were burning a hole in my pocket and better clubs do make for better play .

So get the Versa and you wont be wrong , regardless of why you did so . Hope this helps and good luck with your game . :-)

BPB 15 big slope w/ quick moving dots R to L.

Massive off ding, almost 90% past the DING or a  'push', Tournament speed green.

This one dropped. If it would have missed I wonder where the ball would have stalled.

If I would have aimed way right and dinged instead, and I just missed the hole, can you guess where the ball would have ended up?

This is the Ghost Spider L92

I'd get the Rossa 55 or the Nike 77, but that's my style.

    Different strokes etc...(no pun intended)
I remember testing the L70 Versa a while ago and running back
to my trusty (then L77) Nike Blade. I assume others had the opposite experience.

it's not about the increments IMO. for example, I upgraded to Nike 77 from
the 55 Rossa which was a great putter to take me all the way to legend,
(still best putter under 10 bucks. took me forever to finally sell it back lol)
and it had the 15-30 scales. best advice is wait for a free rent weekend, by then
you'll probably qualify for both, and just try them out and see what works 4 u.
