hpurey:
In the past month, I've bought the L96 Bertha driver, L22 odyssey putter, the L66 ghost putter, a sleeve of Nike balls, two sleeves of the Yellowvicks, and gifted a few sleeves of the Yelloways. All without spending a single cent from my real life money.
Lucky you! ;)
Don't get me wrong, it's not a personal attack... Was reading the topic (2 or 3 reply per page, I'm lazy), saw your post, and said to myself: "He seems a very nice person, I understand its point of view, but we just don't play the same game".
As an european player, from a not anglo-saxon country, the amount of credits I can have for free on WGT is almost equal to 0.
When I start playing on WGT, I did some surveys, to have some free credits (why not)... I took it seriously, didn't lie, etc. For each one it was an half an hour lost + a spammed to death mail box, and 3 or 5 credits ("you don't qualify for this survey" on last question every time). You do it one time, two time, three time... And you stop doing it between five and ten. When I log on WGT I have shiny top right panel telling me I can win 1200 credits with 7 or 8 surveys. Guess what: That's very sad to say but It's not true. ;)
So I'm stuck in the master tier, with my starter balls... If I'm very lucky in CTTH this year I could maybe win a total of 350 400 credits and buy a pack of new Volviks (this week is a good one, I expect 10 credits). If I want a driver (like yours) or a putter... It will take me approximately 10 years.
Or I could invest an insane amount of money I don't have in a beta bugged game, to buy virtual water magnets balls. Hmmm, no.
nb: And I'm from countryside of France (which explain my poor english and bad manners). I'm pretty sure there are country with absolutely 0 surveys. WORLD Golf Tour they say?
tldr: It piss me off really bad when I lose a good ball (free promo Golf advisor, thanks to them) in water because of a WTF shot (reported).
