Really folks, can the gigantic number of sub-60 rounds reflect in any way the game of golf? Within 6 hours that the November tournament at PH#2 was announced, there was a 53 posted...and a bunch fast behind it...how many PGA scores have broken 60? 6, all 59's...it gets a bit absurd, has WGT run out of ways to make the game balance out at TL level, or are cheats running amok?

If the game was made harder to make the top scores more in line with real golf, then I guess it would make it too hard and therefore less enjoyable for the lesser players and newbies. Just a thought.

I'll answer this, if you can explain to me...

How can an 11 year old at 4 feet 4 inches tall, dunk a basket ball on a video simulation program?

This is the biggest mistake quite a few people do.  That is comparing this game to real life golf game.

This is Online game, we all like to play (most of the time...lol)  and because of that we take 10 shots off what the real golf Pro's shoot in reality. If you get over that, then you will enjoy A game the way it is.

Actually, I found the secret to beating the Elite Players of the game...  well getting close to beating em...lol.   They Tee off the Blacks and I tee off the Reds.   Easy...lol

I just have to find a way to how to hit a longer shot to the green, instead of a wedge or putter.

Just have Fun and don't worry bout the low scores :)

After the drive i say to myself cool you are only 10% less good than the best players

After the approach i say to myself, already less cool, you are too long from the flag michel

After the putt i say to myself, well congratulation to them  i never will be  like them, they are incredible, they are champions lol

The leader of the tourney you mentioned has a video of his round (actually live streams every round he plays), and you are welcome to watch it, and maybe you'll see that he (and some others) is just that good. Might even learn a thing or two :-)

    I can assure you...PLENTY!

The more random alternates I play, the more strangely amazing precise shots I see from average players. Luckily nobody losses credits on alternates.....yet.

As others have said it isn't real golf, but wgt have some tournaments (not enough free to play one's imo) you can play in where the scoring here is more like on the PGA tour.

Windy conditions and uneven lies help, both together even more so.  Yesterday I scored 68 in an UEL ready-go (don't think it was windy but I've the memory of a goldfish) and it looks like doubling my entry fee, the leader (same player got the 53) is three strokes clear with a 62.

There are many ways to enjoy this game.

I'm just getting started in this and it doesn't bother me that there are so many low scores. I ran into the same in the Tiger Woods game on line. What really bothers me at this time is the unpredictability of shots when you know they should have predictable results. I guess that's another thread though.

This fact used to bother me greatly when I first started playing here. As a game that stresses 'realism' how realistic is it to have so many people able to shoot 'birdie golf'?? I've come to the conclusion that those people are playing, and always will play,a different game than I enjoy, and I am content to be like the 90% of us in here searching to break 70. Is there cheating going on? Maybe. But I've decided not to waste my time worrying about it.
