It's rather funny, this whole anti-clash campaign. I do understand the frustration everyone feels about this sequel. I feel the exact same way. Have you noticed that there has been "zero" input from the moderators since the beginning of this thread? WGT could care less about what is being said here. They have heard it before. It's pretty much the same stuff that was already said in the first clash post. Did they listen then? No they did not. If they had listened, they would have scrapped the whole thing and came up with a CC v CC that allowed you to choose the clubs to go up against.
I could see this being a lot of fun if they had designed this in a way to replace the way we currently do our CC v CC tourneys. That's what CC's want. Not this cluster. Who asked for anything like this? It sure was not me.
How about something like this:
1) Give the club owner the ability to enter his club in a clash.
2) Other clubs would be able to see all the clubs that have entered.
3) If you see a club (or clubs) you would like to play against, you could challenge them.
4) Give an option of how many players will be able to play from each team. IE: 10 - 20 - 30 - ect ect... Each player could only play 1 time.
5) Give a start time and a duration time. IE: Starts at 8pm (WGT Time) , Duration 6 Hours.
6) Scoring could be the same as it is now.
They could even give an option to play for bragging rights, or choose to have an entry fee and play for credits.
This would make a lot more sense than what they are doing now. Something like this is more of what CC's would like to see. What we have now can not even be called a competition. It's nothing more than seeing who can buy the most CC passes and play the most rounds. You will never see a small club win one of these. It will never happen.
Unfortunately, you will not see any major changes. They are locked in to this and it's here to stay. It sure would have been nice if they had come to the CC's first and asked us what we would like to have... Oh well...
